Kelly should be first name on the team sheet. Also not sure why Masons been bombed out, was probably our best performer this season.

The mason love is kinda creepy. He is out of the side because mccallum is playing well. Its like grimmer revisited

We have no width let's stop trying to make it happen.

Marosi
Dabo rose Hyam MASON
Shipley Kelly Walsh
Ohare
Jordy Godden/Max

Jobello was out and out wide man and is out for the season. MR needs to flex the formation to suit the players we have.

Kastaneer atm looks second rate and is performing in a way that just does not justify the fanfare he got on arrival from Balden.

Said for ages this formation doesn’t work with the current crop of players. We are overworking the middle of the park whilst the two wide men do utterly fuck all.

All I can think of is he has fallen out with Robins. It's not like the midfield has been exceptional since he was injured.

Blinkered lads or what.
Play Kelly when he s fit not before or he s out for weeks. Stupid to play a half fit player
As for Mason / McCallum well Mason he is the new Kelly Evans Twins, too small. Balls over his head as seen by all teams. Good going forward but a liability in defence. McCallum not as good going forward but a good defender.
All about opinions obviously but these are mine lol. Pusb

Maybe Robins sees Kelly as not quite 100% and is managing his recovery so he has a long injury free season! He has had problems with his ankle before so only use him when absolutely necessary atm...He played against Walsall and maybe had a slight reaction so proceed with caution

Presumably he's not fit, not point in rushing him back and him being out for another month. MR knows best.

But he played the full game at FGR and looked fine. If he picked up a knock in that game, why is he on the bench? Looks to me like he's just been dropped.

Or he was given some miles in his legs in the unimportant game.

Maybe, but he looked sharp during that game I thought and fully expected him to start the next game. That was almost 2 weeks ago, and he hasn't had a minute since, so any match fitness he gained during that game will soon be lost. Not sure if he's played for the 23s since?

Robins has his reasons, but the most obvious explanation to me is that he simply prefers Walsh atm.

He only missed the 4 September league matches, it's not like he's just come back from a 6 month lay off. He also played in the 2nd half of the Rotherham game before the full 90 against FGR. It is strange to have given him 120 minutes in 3 days and then leave him as an unused sub for 2 games/weeks. Yesterday's game was crying out for his calmness especially when the game went a bit crazy after the penalty miss.

I believe MR has looked at the Tranmere and MK fixtures and thought we'd have enough to win both games. Then after Tranmere he's looked at the performance, not the result and decided to go same again with one eye on the tougher fixtures coming up - Fleetwood midweek and then Peterborough. I'm 100% sure Kelly will start on Wednesday.

Of course we might have done yet another loan where we're obliged to play him

Wednesday will see Shipley pulled out left with kelly, Walsh and O’Hare in the middle ....god knows who on the right side though!

rather a 4-4-2 though.

Hope you're right and he's fit enough to start, he's being missed.

IF his absence is because of a spat with MR, the pair of them need to put their dummies in a jar and do what's best for the club.

Don't think there has been any fallout
Just that players who came in while Kelly was out have done well
He'll be back in soon enough

Strange how that happened yesterday. MK were no threat at all until we missed the penalty. After that I felt we were as likely to concede as we were to score. I think Kelly at that stage would have made a difference.
