TV ties:

Dulwich Hamlet v Carlisle
Chippenham v Northampton
Hayes and Yeading/Poole v Oxford
Potters Bar/Barnet v Fleetwood

I'm presuming that's just a guess on your part. The most obvious TV game to my mind is Harrogate v Peterborough.

Proper away day in a proper lower league ground

You know they left Layer Road and now play at a southern version of Shrewsbury's ground in a field half way to Ipswich??

That being said, the town itself is a good night out. Make a weekend of it.

It's an identikit new stadium in the middle of nowhere where we've played a lot recently. It has no attraction really

I went many years ago when we won 0-1. It’s the only stadium I’ve been to where of happily never go again. No atmosphere, in the middle of nowhere, flat pack ground. Luckily I’m not around for it so I’m selfishly quite happy but it has to be the worst possible draw

Chichester getting a bye through to the 2nd round. What a result for them!
Pretty much my hometown for the last 20 years. Trained with them when I was uni but didnt like the manager at the time so stuck with my current club at the time. Great news for them. I've had many friends play for them over the years as well.

I also lived in Chippenham for 10 years before moving to Chichester and went to school near their ground so I'm chuffed for them to be in the 1st round as well.

The magic of the FA Cup eh.

Anyone else prefer it when the cup draw was on a Sunday early evening?

And on a proper football show like Grandstand not the One Show (Blue Peter for simple adults) like the FA Cup has been in recent years....

Love your description of the One Show couldn’t agree more why the hell do BBC keep it on ?

Didn't they scrap replays? Might be talking out my arse.
Without checking, don't rounds 1,2 and 3 have a (one) replay before ET and penalties decide the outcome? I've lost track myself. I know the further the progression, the game is decided on the day. I think.

So dont these rounds count then just to verify your incorrect comment?

I was referring to the draws of the FA Cup which are broadcast from the One Show - not Monday's draw specifically. Read again what I wrote. Clearly not every round of the FA Cup including qualifiers/preliminaries will be broadcast on that embarrassment of a programme.
