Rarely, i'm unable to keep a straight face so if I have something decent i'll have a big smile on my face. Prefer Blackjack, haven't been up to the Ricoh casino for a few ageas, maxims in tile hill has a better atmosphere.

I don't have the patience :( I just go all in when I get bored!

I'm kind of like that except it's when I've had a few drinks - always seems like a good idea till I realise I only have a pair!

Yeah played up Annabelles, Tile Hill and the Ricoh. All have their plus and minus points.

Ricoh started to do a lot more big tournaments and you can always get a game with their cash games etc.

Played a few online sites but tend to always gravitate back to Pokerstars as i find it the best, has the most traffic etc.

You can now set up home games on Pokerstars so if anyone fancies a little tournament one night then we could always set one up.

I play on-line every so often - use Betfair as it is relatively straight-forward. Joined via Quidco, so got cashback for signing up too!

... or we could all arrange a night in the off-season where we go to the Ricoh?

Much more social, and a better game. I know the guy who runs the room and I'm sure he would provide su with a dealer. What stakes would all consider? For a friendly one to garner enough interest from here I'd suggest no more than £30 but I'm happy to play for any stakes higher or lower that's suggested.

People get hung up about playing live as its easier to make faceless decisions pressing a button on a computer, but the game is exactly the same. New players are often not out quickly as they are too cautious and end up running deep without gathering enough chips to be an obstacle. I'm sure you'll be fine Rich. It is much more fun and the banter at the tables one of the best parts of the game imo.

Sounds good with me. I know a few others who would be interested as well.....

Always have been when I've been up there but heard they didn't in some of the smaller value toruneys. Tbh I rarely go up since they stopped the £5k gtd on a Weds. Great tourney and they could have withstood the occasional overlay.

Think they are doing the 5k guaranteed again, £50 buy in. I normally play the Friday or Saturday night tourneys when I go up, although the Sunday afternoons are ok fro time to time.

Cool! Is it back on Wednesday's again? Superb structutre and a lucrative one for me too.
