Just to chip in. I listened to Gove on R4 this morning and it was very much the answer to every question was “CORBYN WARGHARBLE!!”

He kept shouting over the questions so he could finish his rant when they tried to move him on.

Particularly enjoyed his studiously ignoring the (fair) question about him campaigning for Leave when Cameron wanted Remain after saying it was ridiculous that Labour front benchers would campaign on a different side to the government in a second referendum.

He really is useless. Who would’ve though putting a couple of lazy Telegraph columnists in charge of the country would end up with them spouting lies and nonsense rather than having a clear plan for the country?

No I was pointing out that he categorically said that drug prices won’t increase and that they would not allow us involvement in the nhs. Straight answers which I know is unusual in this day and age but it was clear as day.
the exact opposite of not answering questions.

but who believes him? I certainly don't.

That’s the problem with Johnson. We keep seeing him just say whatever the person in front of him wants to hear. By all accounts he’s quite pro EU when talking to the EU and the opposite at home. He says to Labour MPs his deal will keep regulatory alignment and to the ERG its a way towards no deal.

Not sure what I think about this, but in the same vein as the stuff about Corbyn being a security risk:

Labour are finished as a major force up there-the Scottish left is largely (but not totally) pro independence and the pro UK vote is mostly Tory and Lib Dem. If there is no appetite for another vote why let Sturgeon call the shots? Why give her a free pass on deflecting from her party’s record?
All parties in the UK are getting a free pass. I detest the woman. She does nothing but cause trouble.

But again you want a Brexit rerun but not another Scottish independence one. But Scotland will be forced out of the EU if we leave when there was a massive remain vote in Scotland but a large leave vote in England. It isn't about the woman. It is what Scotland now thinks. EU or UK.

No, he is a pacifistic, commie, racist, anti-Semitic traitor. Get it right.
No. He is perfect. Has never done anything wrong. All the reports about him for over 30 years have been to stop him from becoming PM which would be unfair.

And the polling evidence seems to show the thinking has not significantly changed. She used to argue that she wouldn’t push for one until she had at least 60% support in the polls for independence. It has reached over 50 only once.

I do not want a referendum to cancel Brexit. I want one so we can get it sorted.

Back to opinion pieces to make someone else look not as guilty as they are?

Neither Boris or Corbyn deserve our vote.

So you want to put the Brexit one to bed but not the Scottish one?

Along the same lines as the Gower Tory candidate innit? I'd say that headline actually detracts from the more serious questions about her beliefs that she needs to justify.

Interestingly or otherwise, the candidate longlists for both Coventry seats were selected nationally rather than locally. Not sure that's helpful.

I’ve not moved CLP so don’t have any inside knowledge but got the impression people weren’t too happy with the Coventry South selection process.

Cov Observer (I know) claims some officials walked out of one of the meetings about the Cov North West candidate selection.

I get the impression it was a bit of a stitch up. The entire selection process is fucked and rewards all the wrong people.

Surprised to hear Keir Starmer quizzed about Ms Sultana on R4 this morning. I suspect if this doesn’t go away she’ll need replacing.

Interesting that, as often happens, the righty line is 'ah, but Corbyn' as opposed to saying what they would do to make the country great.

It didn't work last time, as it allowed Corbyn to engage. Hopefully this time similar happens. It'd be nice to know what the righty approach is beyond cheap short-term bribe, and an 'ah, but Corbyn' line.

The rights fundamental issue is that their ideology is “we are shit at everything and shouldn’t be trusted” so kinda hard to make any big vision for the country beyond “we’ll go away”.

Makes you wonder why Labour would parachute in a candidate that glorifies violence into a totally safe Labour seat.

Have a word. She’s not glorifying violence. It’s quite common for people to say they’ll be happy when divisive world leaders die. It’s just standard internet hyperbole. Same as that Tory woman about benefits street.

Not gonna lie. I have a tolerance for your posts that once I hit it I scroll right past.
But you always see the ones you want to try to disagree with when someone needs defending.

I get you.

Is that all you have read up on her? You need to read more. Won't put up a link for you though as you will just ignore it.

Check her and her Palestine views.

I have. Again I’m not sure 21yo Muslim student holds stereotypical Muslim student views on Israel Palestine is that big of a story.

Sorry you’ll have to bark somewhere else. I don’t buy the “said something on social media” stories against any side.
