I have. Again I’m not sure 21yo Muslim student holds stereotypical Muslim student views on Israel Palestine is that big of a story.

Sorry you’ll have to bark somewhere else. I don’t buy the “said something on social media” stories against any side.
You don't? Will come back to this next time you comment on one.

It isn't the subject. It is the glorifying of violence. Exactly what you would rip a Tory to bits over. But she is Labour. So it is OK.

Hopefully it wont be a labour seat after the elections
It will be. The seat has always been Labour since it started. It always has a very large majority. Makes me wonder why they parachuted her into it upsetting those who should have had a chance of the seat.

Surprised to hear Keir Starmer quizzed about Ms Sultana on R4 this morning. I suspect if this doesn’t go away she’ll need replacing.
What is the point of that. Would be amazed if he’s ever heard of her. Do they expect him to personally vet every candidate?

Lets be honest if we’re going to trawl through every tweet and post ever made by every candidate we’ll run out of people on all sides.

Sure pretty much everyone on here has made an off the cuff comment about a player / manager / council / Higgs / Wasps / SISU that wouldn’t look great if highlighted in isolation.

This is the problem with it, and tbh Ms. Sultana has other reported views that she should be justifying, far more than this. But while this rumbles on, this is the conversation. Her answer wrt this particular tweet seems (to me, anyway!) to be perfectly mature. I would like to hear her answers on other issues too, however!

But how many of us have glorified violence?

Because thy can afford to because it's safe. They can get someone in they're confident will toe the line, vote along party lines etc. That's how so many of them that are largely incompetent get to such high positions - either brown-nosing or know where the bodies are buried. 'Rising star' rarely translates to 'most intelligent' or 'most sensible'.

What even is “glorifying violence”. Do you mean supporting groups that use guerrilla warfare? Yes generally the left are on the side of the smaller side in wars, that’s the naive thing I was on about with Corbyn. IRA, Hamas, etc. And the right are on the side of the group bombing the shit out of people on an industrial scale.

It’s war. No one comes out of it morally clean. Using messy and violent conflicts to score political points is silly. Though frankly U.K. politicians weighing in on such conflicts is also silly.

Or maybe his links to the IRA

You realise there former actual IRA members in the Tory party, working as councillors don’t you? We had a separatist movement within our country, it was shit and messy and most people are happy to see the back of it.

Labour-

Never answer questions with straight answers
Borrow Borrow Borrow
Debt Debt Debt

Isn’t that the same with most politicians?you are right re Labour politicians ducking the question but what about Gove today and Hancock at the end of last week? Gove didn’t answer one question and Hancock answered with the same nonsensical answer despite being pushed and pushed and pushed again.
In the interest of fairness let’s be honest...the majority are liars.

As for debt and borrow...all parties have found that magic money tree...all are making promises they have no intention of keeping. So again I don’t think you can just tar one party but all are at it.

Remind me who was at fault for the recession fool

Banks mostly. Or do you think Labour managed to turn the U.K. into such an economic powerhouse it caused a global crash?

And as I’ve shown before Labours response was so good it was hailed as world leading at the time.

You’re Welcome.

Certainly becoming a liability.

It is times like this when you find out if a dog with a red lead would get voted in to some seats. It has been a Labour seat since it started in the 50's.

So easy to wind up

It's easier to wind up people who actually take time and effort to formulate responses and try to understand the issues behind them.

Someone who doesn't think for themselves and just regurgitates shite they get fed less so...........Ignorance is bliss.

I'd rather be Triggered than Trigger.

Sadly I think you could count the number of people who vote on anything other than national party performance on one hand. Not sure what the answer is. Even here we are all discussing the MPs for Uxbridge and Islington as if we can choose to elect them.
