Just out of interest what is it that makes them the only option for you?

The likelihood of a corporation tax rate that stays the same or close to the current one, that Brexit will be done and the guarantee of Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott not being in charge of our country.

Jacob rhees mogg the other guy backing him up. They really do think they are different and better than those they serve. Will still win the election at a canter

Vote Tory if you’re a Brexit Ultra or a disaster capitalist. There’s literally no other reason.

even by your standards a dumbass statement

What are you voting for them for then? They’ve given up Conservatism.

They’re as radical as Labour on spending, but without any understanding of how public services work so will likely piss the money up the wall. They’re anti business and socially regressive.

To protect my business, my property assets and the standard of living of my family. Not a difficult decision.
Watch the Boris interview on the Andy Marr show mate that's doing the rounds. Boris is nasty and morally corrupt and yet has managed to achieve this through being born into immense wealth and privellege. The more his campaign goes on the more he is adopting Trump tactics and he will be found out.

that would be the standard of living that’s dropped under the Tories. Protect your property assets? You sound like you’ve read one to many copies of the daily express. No one is coming for your property you maniac.

Keep thinking you’re one of the gang with the old etonians though, I’m sure they’ll sort you out.

Out of interest (general question really) where's your business based? You still involved day to day?

Man who presides over shambles supporters trust votes for shambles of a government. Figures.

I'm far from happy with some of their decisions but they've got the best policies for me and my interests. The Greens, Lib Dems and SNP are the complete opposite of what I want but at least I know what they stand for. They're all more electable than Labour.

I think you’re required to be registered at an address in the UK to do that.
My previous council (Haringey) contacted my to suggest i use proxy. I live in Scandinavia and am registered there. I nominated my mum (Cov) who will postal vote my proxy. I am currently in Cambodia and am glad to be away from it all!

A predictably immature, sneering response to my post.

You really do come across as an arrogant and bitter little loser who’s achieved little in life and probably never will.

Grow up and accept that millions of hard working people know that life under a Conservative administration will always be infinitely better than the prospect of Corbyn & McDonnell taxing everything that moves to fund their class war.

Enjoy your weekend.

Nothing wrong with that. My motivation is to look after my family, but I think creating a society that has empathy and looks after it's most vulnerable is a better way of doing that than creating a greedy selfish society where the raison d'etre is to grab wealth and hold on to every single penny.

Totally agree with rewarding hard work and entrepreneurs but everyone has to show a bit of social responsibility as well.

Someone like myself who up until 18 months a go routinely worked 7 days a week expecting a tax system that doesn't allow big corporations to take the piss when I'm paying a hefty chunk of my earnings isn't the so called politics of envy, it's the politics of stopping companies taking the piss.
Of course the cap doffers love getting fucked over, it's why they were put on this planet but I think there is a better way than this neo liberal bollocks.

I’m guessing you have been lucky for the last 9 years not to have impacted on you. I’m glad for you.

I too have not had to worry about the impact of austerity in my personal life.

I have however seen the impact of it every day in my teaching job. I have seen families torn apart by the cruelty of this Tory government. Kids going hungry, kids going without the basics in terms of clothing and santitation. I have seen children emotionally destroyed, I have seen kids having to be carers for disabled parents and siblings because the state won’t provide. I have experienced 12 and 13 year olds wanting to not live anymore because they see no way out of the cycle of horror.
As an adult and a parent it makes me sick to my stomach that even 1 kid has to experience this.

The Tories don’t give a fuck, they never have and never will.

You may be happy with this shit - I am not.

My eldest daughter who is 12 has a school friend who’s in this exact scenario and has been pretty much from the start of primary school. It’s scandalous, she’s been robbed of her childhood by a lack of social care.

He’s officially a racist. Something even Ferage hasn’t managed to pull off.
Was it Boris who made the "letterbox" gaff ?. That was really funny.

Top response. If you're over 40 , paid off your mortgage and have a reasonable pension to look forward to, you're to blame for everything.

If you're one of the 130 thousand who died becsuse of austerity you didn't cause the financial crisis but you paid the price of its consequences.

Including this one?

Or how about when Cameron’s aide said the quiet part out loud?

Anything over than a Labour vote in the Liverpool city area is a wasted vote. Suspect the same in the Coventry city area.

I agree with you, but we've forgotten the reason why money was invented. It was a means to an end, not an end in itself. It made trade quicker and easier than the market/barter system. But it's now becoming corrupted to be something you hoard. People with more money they could spend in several lifetimes but they still try and take even more and because it has an almost perpetual shelf life there is no need to change.

There was a Warwick Business Ethics on tv the other day who made a very good quote. "Capitalism would be fine if it could just learn the word 'enough'."
