OK mate.

Have a good un. Hope your anger issues get better.
He has no anger issues whatsoever. You have issues of bitterness against those who have grafted their way to a better lifestyle.

Anything over than a Labour vote in the Liverpool city area is a wasted vote. Suspect the same in the Coventry city area.
It is and yet in Coventry South, Labour are defending comments on social media made by their candidate as they were made back in 2015, the same ones that call Boris a racist dredging up comments he made in 2002...

Scarily, we have, in my own opinion, some of the poorest advised MP’s and want to be MP’s in history.
They have lost touch with people and their listening skills, they don’t actually understand what is going on in their local community and they’re seem to act more like mini celebrities on some kind of reality game show than actually caring about what is important to their citizens and the UK as a whole.

We genuinely have a choice between two individuals that have more faults/flaws/lack of support/untrustworthy/liars than we have ever had before.

It is actually quite depressing, I don’t see any party that is prepared to tackle the issues the country has in a long term strategically planned and economically viable way.

How about we dredge up ones he made in 2018

The issue isn't with those people. It is with those who HAVEN'T grafted their way to that lifestyle or EXPLOITED their way to that lifestyle. Which is most of the very very rich. It's more exasperation that people with a small business working every hour they can for a slightly better house or car feel that they're part of that world - they're really not and those that are would shaft them at the very first opportunity.

Plus describe a 'better' lifestyle? One where you're constantly stressed working every hour, missing out on seeing your family grow up or even fall apart all together and then end up having a stress related heart attack or stroke in your 40's/50's? Having more money and more expensive stuff doesn't necessarily equal better lifestyle (unless you don't have to earn it)..

I don't think Labour should be defending it. She was 22 at the time so hardly a child and at university. IMO she should be deselected but they won't change the candidate now, especially in such a safe seat.

But Alexander was 38 years old in 2002 and it's not like he hasn't expressed similar sentiment recently. Just face the fact he is unwittingly racist.

It should have been given to a local candidate-all this has done is give the Tories a shout in a seat they really shouldn’t be anywhere near winning.

I have called her out for being a moron that jeapordises the seat. Will you admit that Johnson published racist filth in a national newspaper?
Never in question. The point was only targetting one issue and not being consistent.

At the rate both Labour and conservative candidates are having to pull out (and in equal numbers) because of historic social media posts it’s gone way past the point of it even being a worthy argument of look what this candidate from ‘insert party name here’ said. We’ve entered the realms of having to elect on policy not personality, which will be a novelty in itself.

Then you're going after the wrong person.
I'm not going after anyone. You replied tp my post with shall we use 2018 examples, so I merely explained my position. I have no real allegiance to either side, but do want to see people balanced in their arguments.

'Yet more whataboutery rather than condemnation'

I criticised her just a few posts up. This is what's frustrating.

I've not read the thread, simply alerted to a response to my original post. If you see what i posted and yours being the one that quoted it it, I'm sure you'll understand. However as I've said it wasn't aimed at you, but at Labour supporters in general including shmmeee on here constantly quoting the same issues as an excuse but will turn a blind eye to vote for eg sultana if in their constituency.
