And another quote from their forum, relating to their financial accounts:-
“ This is an unmitigated disaster of a set of figures
It follows on from the record breaking loss of £10m in year to June 2018
If you ignore the £16m handout from CVC the loss has risen to £12m
Totally unsustainable
Rugby attendance is only a half full stadium and down with revenues from 2018
Wasps continue to add more Chiefs so now two CEO's - one for venue one for sport - so costs go up and we ask why is that needed
Derek is owned £18m with no way to repay him as well as the bonds due in 2022
A massive £50m in loans and losses risen and no end in sight, with one big ugly asset being the Ricoh
Probably why the bond value has crashed 30% in last weeks and more to come ….“

Their site is quite interesting, quite a few not that happy at being at the Ricoh.

Wasps second from bottom as well.
Rumblings of discontent.
Attendances reduced year on year since infesting the Ricoh.
Upsetting local communities beyond football supporters.
No naming rights, and reduced value of those rights with no football team involved.
Bond matures in 2 years.

Excellent, all going in the right direction.

They are desperate hopefully , the council will beg Cov to come home , I say stuff them until all insects gone
That’s ok, so long as CCFC could hold out for an uncertain amount of time.
What would we realistically hope for or agree to?

Ideal world, they go back down sarf and we move back in for a pittance.

Realistically - would we go halfs and split the non-sports side down the middle? Would SISU cough up and pay for that deal? After all, it's been pointed out the council shafted us and quite a few complained we weren't offered the same deal. Maybe splitting the difference and going 50/50 is the only realistic way of playing again in Cov.

I’ve called Columbo Nick a bellend several times.

I think Grendel is a right knob 95% of the time. Actual quote from me.

Fernando is a whinging little dry lunch bitch and I’ve called him out for it.

And no offence to Liquid Gold but I couldn’t tell you anything about him. Don’t know him (don’t know any of them) and can’t recall any post of his in particular.

All of this probably says more about me than them tbf but you need to dry your eyes you little bitch. There is only one thing we all agree on.

I’m my own person and the suggestion of me being part of a hive mind on here really gets on my tits.

I think any deal that prevents them being able to lock us out is acceptable and all money from CCFC activity goes to CCFC

divorce any arrangements on security parking , hot dogs etc

we cannot go back if they are taking a chunk of match day money because they will up the rent to compensate for their demise

I’m ok to go back so long as we can pick up some naming rights money. Us not being there is the reason they haven’t got a naming right.

on top of that we want all of the football revenue - they can keep the rest

Link to a site that is touting office space at the Ricoh for rent 160,000 PA?
Anyone know who has departed or are they making new space available?
Somebody posted yesterday, on either Wasps BS/want to go home/wasps finances thread (can't remember!) that Ricoh themselves were moving out. (Stated poor relationship with Wasps) (Didn't even know that they had offices at the ricoh).... if this is true.....
We know that the naming rights are and have been up for some while.
Edit... skybluecharlie9 in Wasps finances on Friday....

Thinking about it, on what basis would wasps have expected CCFC to offer an indemnity? IF any wrong doing was shown by the EU process, it would have been the council’s actions and not wasps or CCFC. Logically it should be for the council and or councillors personally to indemnify wasps against the consequences of anything dodgy.

Going to assume the photos of offices aren't the ones they are actually looking to lease out as they appear to be Wasps own offices. Shirts on the walls, Wasps pictures etc.

Yes mate. My friend here in Kent has worked for Ricoh for years in their Croydon office and he told me Friday night they are leaving office at Ricoh. (I didn't know they had an office there either). My mate is not City fan and is a sound reliable guy. I'll check when it's happening.

So they are moving to Milton Keynes then!

It’s not that big an space that’s being touted. 9,886 sq ft, which if my maths are correct is about 33 yards by 33 yards or 99 feet by 99 feet.

It would be quite funny if Ricoh think that being associated with wasps (given the local situation) and/ or rugby union in general (given the financial shenanigans) was damaging to their brand image. Even more so if other companies followed suit.

I wonder who pays to take down the signage at the ground as taking the ricoh signs down will cost a few quid

Ok. Not really sure what that is trying suggest - as Ricoh are a global company with offices in lots of places. I have no idea why they are actually leaving the Arena.

Just pointing out how many offices they have the in UK. So I doubt the one at the Ricoh was huge. Also interesting Ricoh call it the Arena. You would thing they would be the ones calling it the Ricoh Arena.

Bit odd to move out of a building thats got your companies name!

As much as Wasps try to spin things its a constant stream of bad news. Just in the last few weeks training ground plans downgraded again, someone else planning a hotel near the Ricoh when they can't get their plans off the ground (and have a deadline this month with the council), Ricoh moving out and possibly giving up naming rights, team at the bottom of the league, crowds falling, snooker tournament they've hosted for years moving to MK, terrible accounts released.

If it was us there would be story after story in the CT about how much shit we were in.
