The only way to galvanise support for next season... (2 Viewers)

...is for SISU, Thorn and Harrison to go. In order to get the vast majority of our fans on side all three need to go. We have truely loyal fans, but for us all to be united that is what needs to happen. The club is rotten to the core. No matter who or what replaces them, we have to start from scratch again...even with -10 points.

Tbf we have been 'rotten to the core' with a 'losing mentality' pretty much since we got promoted to the top division, bar a handful of seasons which were the exception to the rule.

Just avoiding relegation whatever league your in is hardly a success.

But the majority of fans want Thorn as manager so surely it would be better for the MINORITY of fans to just try supporting there manager ?

-10 points for getting rid of AT? It wouldn't be a good idea to get rid of him whatever. What we do need is a manager that knows something about Div3. AT has watched loads of these games whilst scouting. He will know the sort of players needed. The problem is will he be able to bring players in this time?

Does watching football matches really make someone a good manager? Based upon that logic, someone who has watched Premier League football for decades would also make a decent Premier League manager?

It isn't just about scouting, watching games or being dealt a bad hand. It's about having a few plans and formations in the locker, inspiring, attracting players to the club and making opportune subs

I doubt most Thorn lovers will be gutted if he goes! Either way is fine with me.. Its swings and roundabouts.

Why do you think this?

I think this because I have seen poll results of up to 75% in support of Thorn.

I think this because I havn't seen one poll result of against Thorn

I think this because I don't hear cries of Thorn out at the games.

This is a very good point tbf.
Whilst it isn't all about watching games, it will be some help I'm sure.

Just because the minority that want AT gone shout the loudest it don't mean AT doesn't have the support of the majority. The majority of us can see past the end of our noses. If he is so shite who has got the youngsters playing so well for their age and has managed to keep them going?

Plans to use players ee don't have, formations utilising players we don't have, has he inspired the youngsters and making subs putting players on we don't have?

Any more good points?

Can you explain your logic rather than a dull, tedious, childish and predictable reply?

You believe watching football matches makes someone a good manager?

*My old man is going on 60, he has probably been watching top division football for 50 odd years, I am going to tell him to put his name forward for the Man Utd job when it becomes available.

So watching players and what they can do as your job is the same as watching prem games on the tv?

Get over it thorn lovers... you've settled for the manager with the worst record we have ever had. The only manager to take us to this level for 40 years.

He is clueless tactless and er well er well always says er well. . He's a nightmare. .. he will be gone soon anyway. That's for sure

But he probably knows what tactless means.

It's the anti Thorn mob that need to 'get over it'.

The reason we have gone down is because sisu have cut the playing squad back too much, somthing that Tim Fisher has admited too.
We even go and sell our leading goalscorer when we are fighting to stay in this league.
When one of our current players writes a message on the internet telling the owners to 'sort it out', that would suggest to me the players know the score too.

I'd quite like to see Harrison replaced if I'm honest, he's seen a few managers out the door.

been noticing recently when they do tours of other grounds that there are large blown up pictures of clubs celebrating promotion or cup wins all around the walls...well i think what coventry should do is have large blown up pictures of children and grown men crying and venting there anger at being relegated..hopefully this would be a reminder to them that while to them it may only be a job.. to the loyal supporter it is alot more than that
