So were set to face 3/4 old boys tomorrow.
Maguire, McNulty, Willis and Burge. We as a group of fans seem to bum ex players before, during and after the match. I know 2 of the players are Academy and one was instrumental in L2 play off glory, but they're now playing for a team who are desperate for a win. I'm not saying boo.them, but let's not give them am ego boost/confidence boost. I'm thankful to them for their time here, but all 3 thought they could do better and all 3 decided to leave. Let's not embarrass ourselves and let's just ignore them for the 90mins until the game is won! Then you can show your appreciation etc.

Mcnulty is injured so doubt he will travel. Smattering of applause for Willis and Burge but Maguire can piss off after his antics in our home game last season.

One instrumental? Burge, Willis and McNulty were all pivotal in our promotion season. That said, I agree not to show any emotion either way until after the game.

I'm sure people will be too pre-occupied hoying bags of shite to clap or boo them.
I can't go tomorrow but I've pre crapped and sending it up with a friend to hoy over the top, apologies in advance to any under 1yr old and any one over 108yr for the staleness of aforementioned shite.

Totally agree remember these players were given the oportuinity to stay and play for us but thought the grass was greener. Thanks for your time at City but we thanked you enough for your efforts when you were here now you arnt part of our team. Dont give them any praise and save your energy to get behind the lads wearing sky blue who want to be here

Liverpool fans always applauded former players returning to Anfield who had done well for them. I always thought that this was a classy thing to do. If I was going today, I’d give all three players a round of applause, firstly because they gave me a couple of the best days I have had in 50+ years supporting this club (Notts County, the Play Off Final) and secondly I always felt they gave their all when on the pitch. I would say that this is particularly true of Willis. As regards leaving the club because they think that they can do better, I would imagine that all three left because they knew that they could earn higher wages at another club. Most of us would move jobs if someone was going to increase our pay. Interesting that Gary Linaker did exactly this but that Leicester remain’his’ club. I would imagine that will be the same for Willis, Maddison, Wilson etc.

And of course he is a Leicester fan. Thought Maddison supported Liverpool and Willis Man Utd? Might be wrong but think I read it somewhere.
