You are put on ignore by quite a number on here. Yes please, explain slowly which point of yours I proved.

The point is you’ve made an assertion we are closer to promotion than before so it’s an improvement

You’ve failed to acknowledge the real reason which is staring you in the face

You’ve hardly had universal support on this thread have you? Several have pointed out that the teams below have games in hand. Why have you not responded to these other posters.

It’s you really who has a one dimensional view and sticks fingers in ears when presented with an alternate argument

The point of the original thread was to point out for only the second time since the club have been in this league that there is a chance to go up.

Last time I said we had to get rid of Mowbray that January as it was clear the car crash was coming

This time I’ve said if we do not address the issues by the end of January then the likelihood is we will miss out again and probably for a long time as the teams who are likely to come down will dominate.

We won’t get promoted if we don’t win away games. The team in 15th will go above us if it wins its games in hand.

Every game we win is by fine margins.

If Lincoln had equalised do you think everyone would have left grinning saying what a wonderful team we are or would have been in meltdown

Don’t you think the next month is a critical period in the clubs recent history and it’s vital we do not fall away?

Wouldnt be surprised if Wycombe lose 5 in row now...interesting to see how if they ounce back at pompy away, then Us and ipswich at home, then sunderland away.

Once they get a few injuries and suspensions and a few bad results lets see how they get on...

That’s been said about them all season and still they’re having a better season than us. We’re yet to win away in the league so I can’t see them lose much sleep about the prospect of playing us.

You can predict how each game will unfold before it happens. We’ll probably take the lead, invite pressure and concede one or two shit goals in the second half. Maybe we’ll get fortunate and see out the 1-0

That we have more points than at this stage last season?

It’s you really who has a one dimensional view and sticks fingers in ears when presented with an alternate argument

Not really, I’ve said before you proved me wrong with JCH and I’ve conceded to other people when I think they have good counter arguments. But I won’t accept that a taxi should be called for our manager when we’re improving season after season under him.

I don’t think we’ll go up this season but I think we’ll improve on last years points total which for me will represent a good season.

This time I’ve said if we do not address the issues by the end of January then the likelihood is we will miss out again and probably for a long time as the teams who are likely to come down will dominate.

You should become a football manager, you seem to know all the answers that actual football managers don’t. You’re wasted in corporate middle management.

We won’t get promoted if we don’t win away games. The team in 15th will go above us if it wins its games in hand.

We will win an away game this season, stop shitting yourself.

Every game we win is by fine margins.

Every game we lose (bar Rotherham) has been by fine margins but we have won more than we’ve lost.

If Lincoln had equalised do you think everyone would have left grinning saying what a wonderful team we are or would have been in meltdown

You’re right on this one, the place would’ve been in meltdown because people like you find it difficult to see the bigger picture.

Don’t you think the next month is a critical period in the clubs recent history and it’s vital we do not fall away?

Yes, as was this month and every other

Love it!

Why do you feel the need to respond to him, does anybody really care one iota about his opinion.

We all have faith in the job hes doing.

The fact we have an excellent record against them.last 3 years, what is it 7 wins out of 7? Theres definately baggage there .and theres a good chance they will go into the game after playing pompy away on the back of 2 defeats...we shall see.

Watch it all unfold.

Should win our first back to games in the league.

We should smash this league, not seen a single that can live with us when on song, when our strikers eventually hit top form (Goden/Max).We will be unstoppable! Based on the best teams i seen this season.

My top 3

1) Oxford
2) Cov
3) Portsmouth

I would get good odds on that.:shamefullyembarrased:

I know Grendel gets slated for being too negative but this is on the other side of the spectrum where it’s ridiculously optimistic bordering on delusion.

‘Not a single team can live with us when on song’ - we’ve won 1 league game by 2 goals all season, we’re hardly destroying teams.

You actually said that you felt the day of the Shrewsbury result was when you felt a decision needed to be made to stick or twist. You've tacked another month on for good measure. Increases your margin for error significantly, nice one.

The league table says otherwise though and our recent form is mid table, hardly smashing the league, is it?

We've only lost 1 league game this season by more than 1 goal (when we had a man sent off after 57 mins). We're hardly getting destroyed by teams.

Which shows a good attitude

I'm not entirely surprised that's your take on it as it sums you up pretty well. Self-belief is important, but you can cross a line into arrogance. It is also one thing to hold that belief and quite another to just go around blatantly saying so - if he's willing to say it to a kid I imagine he's not too shy about telling those people he works with every day and it creates animosity within a squad and affects morale. As I say like you - loads of people on here put you on ignore and many of those that don't find you to be infuriating.

A good attitude would be to approach the manager and ask why am I not starting every game because I believe I'll add something to the team. You hear this a lot from managers - players knocking on the door wanting to know why they're not playing.

If Biamou did the same thing would you be saying he was showing a good attitude? I somehow doubt it. When MR had a go at him for playing out of position in one game and dropped him for a few weeks into U23 he didn't moan, he played those U23 games, scored goals and earned his place back in the team.

I haven’t seen a team better than us this season..Rotherham were far better than we were on the day but the general level of own play has been great. Yes we need to score more goals but that I think will come.

The table is based on 46 games not the 2 games we play against a team.

We have dropped points against the likes of Tranmere, MK Dons and Bolton whereas I imagine the other teams around us have gained points

They won’t in droves playing keep ball, however robins always talks about players being brave and I think he’s trying to instil that into the players

That's exactly what he's done Faz - and kudos to those who are calling him out on it.

Er I didn’t and again hardly anyone is “calling me out”

We both know you are very wrong on both counts.

It's been very obvious for some time that your painfully fragile ego can't deal with people who disagree with you - hence you resort to ridiculous accusations (showing a playground level of maturity) when you've been called out.

I’m very happy for people to disagree - all I’ve heard is you call me a moron - great debating skills

So with this great team if we hail to get promoted who would you blame?

You've called someone a moron on here over 100 times ha ha

At least. Which I’ve no problem with to be fair, but glass houses and all that.

Why does there need to be "blame"? That seems to be the issue.

There is a lot more agree to how fragile MR situation is that go to games than a few on here that can’t see sense or just refuse too . Interesting . We all want Cov to do well but refusing to accept, the fact of our current position ( False in my eyes ) Is nonsense .

I could not give an overweight rodents tit gland if you think I am a moron either

Exactly - it’s the refusal to accept this that frustrates
