These days women want equal rights until equal rights are not in their favour.

I am all for equal rights for all. But this includes the good and the bad. This was a serious assault. It could have ended up as a murder charge by the sound of it. If a man had done this his career in TV would be over. But they seem to be standing by her.

If somebody smashes a lamp of your head while you're sleeping then that's attempted murder in my eyes, the victim is well within their rights too defend themselves in anyway they see fit. I worked the doors for years. Not once did I feel the need to hit a woman. Had a fair few unhappy with me. Had a relationship where she tried stabbing me. Should I have taken the knife off her and stabbed her? Should I have just knocked her out?

Same happened to my old man. Went to the police but got laughed out the station. I'd like to think it wouldn't happen now.
