I have a bet with Skybet

Automatic Promotion. 16/1. Stake £20. Return £340.

Cashout currently £49.30

Im not sure what the current odds are but the current cashout seems fairly good.

I’m tempted to let this run. Just wondered when you would cash out?

Leave it until the end of January:

Tramere (A) - Win
Milton Keynes Dons (H) - Win
Doncaster Rovers (A) - Draw
Wycombe Wanderers (H) - Win
Fleetwood Town (A) - Lose

10 points from 15 should see us still in the top 6.

If you’re only being offered £30 more than your stake after half the season when the odds have massively fallen it’s really not worth cashing out out

Let it run. Unless you desperately need the cash.

Last time I cashed out a bet Norwich scored last kick and I lost out on £1400. Cashed out at £150 and put £100 on Norwich to win to cover myself but was still gutted. Bare in mind I’m not a big gambler this was off a £5 accumulator.

My lad bet a quid on a couple of FA Cup games last season. Both sides were at least 2 goals behind with 10 minutes to go. He won the first bet and picked up £100. And put a quid on the other game. Why oh why? Three goals in 10 minutes and he was £225 up. I guess this happens. £325 return. If only he’d put a tenner on the second bet.

My dad always does £5 on 5 draws and won it 3 times last season. About £700 each time. Started talking about Las Vegas and buying a tuxedo.

I don’t really bet anymore. Got a fiver on Godden top goal scorer in the league and that’s it.

Got quite a few bets running at the moment, biggest one is Liverpool for premier, Leeds promoted, Cov and Ipswich promoted. Will get £640 or can cash out for 50 now. Juve to win CL for 110 and Liverpool for the league for 64 and can cash out for 54 now!

Think it was last season I couldnt go to the Cov vs Lincoln game cos I was working. Stuck my usual bets on, had £1 left on skybet account. Had a look through the high odds bets, stuck it on something like 4.5 goals or more, 70+ booking points (equivalent of 7 yellows) and 15+ corners as a group bet at 500/1. This was the game where we lost 4-2. By half time, had enough goals, got the corners by about 65/70 mins but was miles off booking points, think there was only two yellows at this point. Wrote it off, finished my shift and went home. Checked my accas, shite as usual. Looked at the Cov game and there had been a flurry of Lincoln bookings in the last ten mins.

Skybet balance:£501. Fucking buzzing

A couple of years ago I had McNulty to get a hat-trick, and for us to win 4-0 (can’t remember the opposition now).
Both came in, £1 each, both 40/1.
Not being a regular betting guy, imagine how pissed off I was when the father in law said I could have won £1400 if I’d have doubled up (still don’t get it now)
Still, £80 form £2 I’ll take any day.

That would have been a related bet so you wouldn't have able to double it

I would've been either £450 (150*3) or £453 (150*3 and then +£3 as you get your original stake back)

My mate used to work in a bookies and said that football is more of a money maker for the bookies as it's so unpredictable.

The first big bet I ever seen him win was off 4 draws. £170 back from £1.

I wish I’d let my bet roll and not cash out. £50 for both Coventry and Exeter to get promotion this season. Still made £100 profit but cashed out when they both had a slip of form. Now they are both in form. Could have been £2300. Hey Ho, I suppose (mumble, mumble, bugger).
