Not sure why he would consider it at the moment. He seems happy, playing games (has seen lots of mates move on too early and struggle). Would the probable increase in salary make up for it - or a way of encouraging a new pay rise....or perhaps as nick says, paper talk about a player in good form, with no more substance than that?
