Walsh MOM for me in the end.

A few players looked tired.

Marosi 6 didn't have much to do tbh
Dabo 6 great play for the goal but dubious for their second
Rose 6
McFadzean 6
Hyam 6
Mccallum 5 struggled a bit today, probably tired after running up and down that mud bath NYD
Kelly 7 usual strong performance
Walsh 7.5 excellent, their first goal aside
Shipley 6 some sloppy passing, should have scored
Westbrooke 6 improved second half and did really well in the run up to the goal
Godden 7 was a little isolated first half, second half he probably should have put one of his chances away but good that he's a constant threat now

Subs
O'Hare 7 the game was calling for him from the first few minutes, did well
Allen 7 like O'Hare he carries the ball much better than Westbrooke or Shipley, shame he didn't start
Mason 4 looked very rusty

Dabo 8 Was everywhere , great signing

McFadzean 7 - apart from the pen incident thought he had so much of the ball and used it well, looked good.
Hyam 7 Steady
Mccallum 6.5got kicked about today , looked threatening but caught square a few times
Kelly 7
Walsh 8
Shipley 6 for every good thing he did something just as bad quickly followed
Westbrooke 7 need to carry the ball more in my opinion

Walsh head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch

Marosi - 5. Didn’t have anything to do, yet still conceded twice.
Dabo - 6. Great going forward, at fault for the second BR goal.
McFadzean - 5. Sloppy touch for the pen. Lucky not to get a red.
Hyam - 6. Solid.
Rose - 6. As per Hyam.
McCallum - 6. Tired towards the end.
Kelly for the first 30 mins - 4. Looked very leggy, and off the pace. For the last hour - 7. Suddenly got up to speed with the game and looked like his usual self.
Walsh - 9. Excellent first goal, and the run for the second was superb. Should’ve scored with his header mind.
Shipley - 5. Tried to do the right thing, but it never really came off for him.
Westbrooke - 6. Solid, should’ve scored in first min.
Godden - 6. Expected him to score both the chance in the first minute of the second half, and the one-on-one. Good touch for our second goal.
O’Hare - 7. Improved us as a team when he came on.
Allen - 6. Didn’t make any difference, one very good tackle in injury time.
Mason - 4. Looked like a man who hasn’t played much recently

Hard to slate a striker whose just scored 6 in 2 previous matches... Maybe that's the difference between him and baka.

Should he have done better, maybe... But he also did well in the build up to our second

Were you two watching the game?

Marosi - 6 at fault for the first goal. Not much else to do missed a punch too. Love his confidence after making an error though
Dabo - 7 excellent defence when on a yellow. Outrageous booking from a jch dive!
McCallum - 6 average display
Rose - 7 thought he defended well
Hyam - 7 same
Mcfazdean - 7 strong
Kelly - 7 thought he broke play up well could have got the winner if he wasn’t being wrestled to the floor
Walsh - 8.5 excellent for the whole game
Westbrooke - 6.5 missing first half excellent second half
Godden - 6 good movement and assists but didn’t hit the target with two good chances and didn’t finish the one on one
Shipley - 7 hit and miss, could have scored but also gave it away cheaply on occasion. Looked like he’d hurt his arm

Ohare - 8 excellent him and Godden are going to have fun the rest of the season
Allen - 7 touch brilliant and again will make a massive difference rest of the season
Mason - 5 agree looked off the pace

In the draw and expect to get through

they were very poor

Your ratings don’t seem far off the other two posters unless I’m missing something?

I never seen the game or heard it on the radio but Baka was shit and Hiwula was well off the pace and Ben Wilson looked much better playing at centre half

Slightly surprised by the ‘high’ (6) marks for Shipley. Thought he was really poor today and rightly pulled. A one off & shouldn’t be held against him but wasn’t at the races

In the few mins he was on in 2nd half, he won the ball in the box and set uo Godden who should've scored, picked up an interception, won a header and closed his marker down.

I made a special point of watching him as a knob behind me kept criticising him in the first half even when it was Westbrooke - probably first game he's attended this season. He hurt his arm too and called to be subbed which is odd if Robins then said tired.

For me all of them average, Dabo & Walsh slightly better. Pleased they kept playing football after early error and ignored the crowd who wanted them to hoof it.

Rovers def did their homework, closed down quickly, got stuck in and no intention of allowing us to play in areas that hurt them. Systematically fouling. JCH is such an awkward customer and the things he did for us that I loved in pushing the player, falling down and winning a free kick, I now find doubly frustrating as I can see it coming but the ref can't!

He did, you are right, although you have managed to miss the fact he probably lost it 7+ times from a terrible touch in the first half
