I've seen the pitch three times this season, the surface is in great nick. If the issue with it bedding down can be sorted and any damaged joins are flattened, given that rugby excerts forces on the turf that will never be repeated during a football game, the surface should be more than good enough for us. Understand folks don't want our form and league position jeopardised but if a return was on the cards, it's got to be worth the risk given the momentum it would generate with attendances etc.

When did you see the surface?
Were you watching the London wasps?

I saw the video of that large section of the pitch lifting. That's not normal, is it?
no that certainly isn't normal, over the 8 games a small section of turf has lifted 2 or 3 times but that was by far the largest piece, it also seems to be nearer the corners that it happens so not sure if the shape of the stadium means it gets more natural weather conditions in the middle which may have help that area root down better.

When we played Notts in the play off semi and there was an unnatural downpour just before kick off which water logged the pitch I'm fairly sure that corner was the worse.

you carry on son using foul and abusive language is the sign of a week and feeble mind that doesn't have the capacity to formulate or engage in meaningful debate.
I don't agree at all with his desire to stay in brum but one day we'll be back.
He supports his local team. You support an opportunist bunch of thieving tossers.

whilst i don't usually like to repeat myself I will on this occasion make an exception for you "you carry on son using foul and abusive language is the sign of a week and feeble mind that doesn't have the capacity to formulate or engage in meaningful debate" (even if it has been point out that this hasn't hindered certain celebrity individuals because you certainly don't come anywhere near their level of intelligence)

like i've said before for me it was a piece of luck, I've watched Wasps with my dad and grandad since i was a child the only difference now is that they travel up to me for the weekend and we all still go and watch together.

Don't really see the issue then...fair play. Not that i'm excusing your team but not sure why people are giving you grief. Good luck to you.

Coventrians head is going to explode.

yep i certainly did, my dad was raised in Sudbury and as such supported Wasps along with his dad so it was natural for me to suit and now enjoy watching Wasps with 4 generations of our family.
Nice isnt it,watching your team with your family? Me,my dad and my 2 lads cant do that anymore thanks to the franchise.

just so there is no confusion by dad was raised in sudbury as a child but we lived in Wycombe, Wasps moved to Wycombe in 2002 so they actually moved there around the same time i came to coventry

Born in Wycombe and my family still live there, i moved to Coventry after meeting my wife on holiday nearly 20 years ago
You're on a football chat site . There is a dedicated wasps sub forum where you'd be better off . Being on what is essentially the footy forum clearly shows that you haven't got any friends. It's a bit sad.
