For what though? Getting sent off?
Just my gut nothing else saying this but I feel like Robins was getting frustrated at him missing chances and told Jordi he needed to improve. Instead of knuckling down he became frustrated and possibly not an entirely positive influence in the dressing room so now we'll move on from him.

I think when your manager says something to the effect of “he should be fit if he doesn’t trip on a kerb in the week” you know the games up

Strange how quickly he's fallen out of favour, yes he missed a few chances early season but in my mind he's a big threat and a decent player at this level.

He’s certainly a far better option than Bakayoko or Biamou (though clearly we are lucky to have Biamou as he should be earning 12k a week)

Robins isn't exactly the most forgiving of characters. Personally think it would be a mistake moving him on but I think the writing is already on the wall.

He was missing sitters time and again. Then he missed that penalty at MK dons. After that his attitude absolutely stank. He was only person that didnt come to clap fans at MK Dons. He then got the chance again at MK dons in cup and again was him usual self missed a couple of one on ones.

His conversion rate is diabolical at this level. Max was clinical in November /December (games vs Ipswich) when available and so is Godden.

We move on as a club onwards and upwards.

Robins should have kept that comment in-house not go public with it, as Hiwula will be the next scapegoat for some knuckle-draggers...

I can't defend his form this season. His finishing has been terrible but IMO he's still a far better option than Baka and if given the chance over the course of the season would probably score more goals than Biamou. His pace and trickery can cause opposition defences issues too which is an option we don't necessarily have with Biamou or Godden. But I can't deny that at the minute he's rightly behind both Godden and Biamou who are both obviously in form.

Half time
Coventry looking good but you can see why Watford are top of this division
They keep their shape and ping the ball about well making loads of chances
Our defenders are excellent, with Pask looking good
Eccles and Newton having decent game so far
Still 0 1

He's a striker, in our good run towards the end of last season he was involved in a lot of our goals.
a number of Hiwula's goals last year were real scuffs, where you thought a proper striker would have hit it more cleanly, and it went in partly because he miss hit it

A goal is a goal, his confidence is low at the moment.

I think that's a bit harsh. You may want to have a watch of his highlights. There's some good goals in there.

I find it crazy, given the lack of goal scorers in our squad, that the fans can label a player who’s repeatedly hit double figures in our league (mostly from the wing) as shit.

You obviously havnt seen him play much.

When wimbledon fans laugh at you then you know your times up. He's missed some comical goals. About 6 sitters vs Wimbledon alone.

Also he doesn't create anything for anyone else. He can't defend.

He does have attributes. But nothing that will get him into team this year which has stepped up a notch from last year. The system for one wouldn't suit him.

I've seen him play plenty and his lack of involvement in games at times was/is definitely something that needs improving. I'm not saying he's world class there's a reason why he's plying his trade in League One, I'm simply saying I think Robins may be jumping the gun by getting rid as I think he has something to offer - especially over Baka who literally hasn't got one attribute.

I think I’ve seen 95% of the games he’s featured for us. I know he doesn’t fit our style of play at the moment but it’s almost guaranteed that we will change systems before the end of the season and may need him.

Goals don’t lie and to say he is shit is just completely wrong. To say he doesn’t suit our system is a different story
