Fair assessment mate on JCH we thought the same when he was here more time moaning & falling over than anything else he thinks he’s better than he is,agree on the league seeming weaker this season also...all the best for the rest of the season mate :)

Very true tbf.

I fancy you guys to do well this season, I think the league is poor overall and there for the taking.

As for JCH, he was so good until Garner came in. I think we all know his injury issues (I'm never sure if he's actually fit), but personally I'd sell him. When we were pushing for promotion I'd have said get a lower fee in summer and just go for it this year, but at this point I'd rather get rid and cash in. His interest has completely dropped and for the first time we're seeing the mentality issues we've heard from other fans. He spends more time moaning at a misplaced pass, rather than actually chasing the ball down. Which is ironic as I can't see anyone coming in for him because he just comes across as lazy
That's JCH. It's looking more and more like his patch last season and beginning of this was a blip and he's returning to type. He's an idiot really because he only had to keep his head down for another month or two and he'd have got a decent move.

That doesn’t mean anything though? It’s another opportunity for small clubs to make big money which for me, is welcome.

Seed the teams then if it’s all about money and make the bigger teams play away.

There should be a limit of £20 for a ticket and if they insist on replays then a £5 maximum charge, that’s about all it’s worth to watch premier reserve teams

You too mate, although I don't think you'll need the luck as much as us :D

Rovers were very poor and only threatened (term used loosely) with a couple headers first half, one soft shot and a decent free kick (second half). But you can only play what’s in front of you and we played very well. O’Hare and Allen particularly looked good; O’Hare providing imagination and pin point through balls and Allen having an incredible engine. He must have run at least a mile further than any other player last night. With Kelly and Walsh breaking things down and then starting periods of possession that would be my starting midfield four. Having Shipley and westbrooke also shows the strength in depth we have.
Pask looked as if he will become a decent player; thought he was a bit hesitant defensively but supported attacks well and showed great speed in getting to the ball for the goal. Mason fitted in nicely and we have fantastic competition for the full back (wing back) positions. The three centre backs have a good understanding and their positional play defensively is much improved. Rose though last night miskicked the ball on at least 5 occasions...down to weather I think.
Upfront max surprised me with his turn if speed but I still wish he would use his physical presence more.
That leaves Marosi; a good shot stopper but I’m still concerned he stays rooted to his line on any cross. I like keepers who dominate their 6yd box and like burge he doesn’t.

A good victory but most pleasing was the style of football we played...this young team is coming together nicely and shouldn’t be afraid of any team in L1.

Was a procession last night. Apart from a 5 minute spell in the 1st half where JCH hit the bar, and towards the end, where we had lost a bit of shape and quality when the changes were made, Bristol offered very little.
Walsh, again looked very good. Kelly was Kelly, and O'Hare was the spark we needed after a fairly flat performance on Saturday.
Was impressed by Pask, notably his versatility - Robins said he had never played "wing back" before.
Right, this may upset a few, but I do feel that Jodi Jones has "become a much better player" in peoples minds during his absence.
His last prolonged spell of games was in L2 and I would not say he was setting the world on fire then. He is VERY left footed (shown last night when he went past a man on the near side and has a clear path to side foot across goal with his right.... which would have been the best choice, but instead checked back onto his left and played back.... This was a common feature when he was playing also.
Does anybody else think he should go out on loan so he can get a prolonged spell of games, and so his actual quality can be fully assessed?
I will be interested to see what the next few weeks holds for him.
I would love him to do well, but thinking of the team and its possibility for success this season, I feel we have stepped up in terms of quality since JJ was last fully integrated into the squad. He's not going to play out wide due to the formation, and O'Hare is streets ahead of him in terms of quality in the 10 role.
I think Mark Robins is the best judge of our players
Let's leave it to him
He's done ok so far

Totally agree!
That is why I said I'll be interested to see what the next few weeks hold in store for him. (JJ). Will tell us what MRs views are on his future.

I also like a keeper to dominate the 6 yd box BUT I'd also as a defender prefer to know the keeper is staying put than sometimes coming/sometimes not. At least you can be sure what you need to do rather than in two minds.

I was gonna go Mutant Turtles joke. You’re so much classier than me.

I just hope someone doesn't take a cowa-bung-a if we sell McCallum. Always someone looking for a pizza the action and wants a slice of the profit.

There's nothing classy about me dude!

When Jones came on at MK he was on the wing so probably more at home.In the 15 minutes he was on he looked good and had 3 or 4 decent runs. On Tuesday he was in a more unfamiliar position in a game that we had already won and therefore no need to really go flat out. He did look rusty and did very little of note but I would think he was pleased to have 30 more minutes on the pitch.
I disagree about his League 2 contribution. I thought that up until his injury he was our stand out player. Wasn’t he our leading scorer at that stage ?

Jones didn't come on against MK? I don't think he was even on the bench?

Why would I pay to watch Worcester city or somebody like that and if I haven’t made the effort to go to the earlier games why should I get a ticket later on

Why would you restrict people getting tickets if there are tickets available? As long as you give priority to people who attend regularly, I see no downside in letting anyone who wants to to attend:

- Anything else is authoritarian and petty
- They may get hooked and attend more regularly

I am saying for myself if I can’t be bothered to attend the early games why should I take a ticket away from somebody who has been attending these games.
