Be interesting to see the atmosphere for this one.

Been poor really since the first few games as there isn't really a singing section. Be a lot more of the away day crowd at this one so hopefully it improves.

I reckon most Cov fans sat down and both Blues' ends standing up.

From looking at Twitter I'm pretty sure we have lots waiting for behind the goal...

Don't look like they will open them till about Wednesday or Thursday?

Weekend and Monday only open a few more blocks.

Tuesday they wont open any more new blocks, until almost all the season ticket seats have sold in Kop stand.

Why do people think the crowd will be made up of people who have previously refused to go? Most people will have been to a game or two this season. Just because we get 6K, it doesn't mean it's the same 6,000 every week. It wouldn't surprise me if 12,000-13,000 different individuals had attended this season. People pick and choose, and it just happens lots will be picking and choosing the same game because of the occasion. I know people who have been all games, some to most games, a few who have been to a couple of games, a couple flying in for whom it will be their first game. I also know plenty of regulars who are not going.

This idea that 'boycotters' are coming over en masse is rubbish. One or two maybe, and of course they'll be a few first timers, good, we want them to start coming don't we?

Can see a similar vibe Of the old west terrace behind that goal looking forward to a game with a good atmosphere at St Andrews

Don’t want the same debate that’s been had a million times, people know my stance on game attendance. I really don’t understand why people, who have previously refused on principle to go, are going to this one. This game is like the epitome of the embarrassing situation the club is in. When we beat Rovers in the replay, official company twitter pages were having a laugh about it. Then the Pep Clotet interview. Ugh.

How do you know why people aren’t going?

Do you have specific examples of people saying they are staying away on principle and going to this?

Well I think it’s quite safe to assume a few are. People seem to be expecting a bigger attendance on our part. There’s people on social media who’ve said they’ll go to this one.

If you’ve seen a few on social media who have said they’re staying away but not for this then fair enough, but as @theferret said there are more than 6k who have gone to St Andrews but don’t regularly and it’s picking up the interest of neutrals, as I said the Man Utd fan with a passing interest in City in my office is going to go. Nothing like all those going to this are boycotting. I doubt there’s more than a handful actually boycotting at all, it’s just harder to get to so less people go is all.

why would it be my cup final? I don't even know if I'm going, tomorrow is a far more important game as far as I'm concerned.
The Royal Shakespeare Company have got a play on in Stratford tomorrow, if you're not going I hope you've logged on to their message board to tell everyone you won't be attending.
My original reply on this thread was to someone who was slagging off people who havent been there but are going to this. As usual you have to stick your nose in and start coming the cocky bollocks.

Bet you will be in the queue for a Wembley ticket if we make the play off final.
No I wont as I'm on a cruise that week. I wrote this season off when I found out we were playing out of cov so booked it
Sorry to have burst your bubble.
Just out of curiosity though, what would the problem be if I did go? I've been a city fan for 40 years. A season ticket holder for about 25 of those. Is that all written off now as I wont go there?

The problem would be that you don’t acknowledge games at St Andrews as Coventry City games and therefore think we are playing a 22 game season

you wrote the season off because you found out where we were playing but 4 months into the season decided to sign up to a city message board to tell people you won't be attending the games they're discussing. I really can't see what you're getting out of your time on here.

Each to their own, just not sure I buy the logistics thing.

Our club is a bit odd at times. For the second night running you cannot buy tickets for a game where demand is high because nobody has thought to make them available. I'm sure everyone will get a ticket ultimately, but it's a bit tinpot.

It’s literally the case for me and members of my family. Need longer childcare, have to organise parking, etc. Little things but they add up.

It’s no different to people who will take a day off for Wembley but not a wet Wednesday night game in Scunthorpe.

Should get to block 10 then I would think!!
Think 10 will be available Sunday/Monday - think there will be another massive surge of interest if we beat Doncaster though!
Could & probably will completely sell out by Tuesday evening IMO.
Get in - can’t wait!!!

Haven't bought ours yet. Kind of want to sit behind the goal so waiting, but not sure I want to sit with all the day trippers.
