As I said, the issue isn’t the sample size but the sampling method. There’s a good argument that only those that agree with the sites overall position stick around and therefore they are the only ones who see it. The Internet is great a siloing people off into hive minds.
Not attacking it, just steel manning the argument in case it’s raised. It’s worth thinking about how you will respond.
I think it’s perfectly legitimate to say that forums generally have higher levels of commitment to the subject matter then standard facebook groups. A classic example of this is Piston Heads
So it is more likely the people on this forum will be more committed than casual observers say on twitter and Facebook
so it’s reasonable to say the response is representative of the views of the subscribers who are more likely than not to be committed supporters
