You're the one that piped up in the first place? Hardly my fault you spout non-sensical comments without thinking first.

Let me break this down. Someone, I can't even remember who, said we've kept all our players until the end of the season and topped up our coffer. You said this was incorrect because we aren't spending the money this second, and it will be used to fill the deficit - and that filling the coffers implied that the money should be available to spend.

So bit by bit:

Topping up: Meaning to add to something so as to increase the volume. In this case the money coming in is topping up the money in our bank account. Whether it's £3 million, £1 million or 50p is pretty much irrelevant as it will still top up the money in the clubs bank account. Therefore to say topping up is not an inaccurate thing to say.
Coffers: A coffer is generally for referring to a container of some sort. In this case "coffers" is referring to the cubs bank account (which has just been topped up by the way).

So, whoever said we have topped up the coffers isn't wrong.

Then you asked if I knew for sure that the £3 million was up front. I mean, obviously not at this time hence why I prepended the statement with the word "reported". What exactly is "non-sensical" (sic) about what I said?

nearly every post on fb fans forum bring back bright and saying it will bring the fans back wtf morons some of the posts are like wtf!

Not sure why it would bring fans back. If being in the top handful of teams in the division isn't enough I'm not sure a new player, whoever it is, will make a difference.

It means we now have a reported 3m more in our bank account. What it's used for is pretty irrelevant.

Pretty much like my bank account
