Mind United Yorkshire 3 Peaks: Trek challenge to UK

Anybody else get the email from the club about the Yorkshire 3 peaks in July for Mind Charity?
Thinking of doing it, just seeing who else on here is interested? Maybe get a little team of Sky Blue Army do it together?

It’s a lovely route, we race it (it is a famous fell race)..... but don’t underestimate if walking it.... between 9-12 hours if walking, depending on weather, fitness of the group, etc....

Been a very long time since I've done the yorkshire peaks. Was a regular haunt of mine when I was training in Harrogate and Catterick between 2001-2003. Did love Yorkshire but generally now, the furthest north in that direction I go is to the peak district, but i normally head to North Wales nowadays.
It looks a good day out and for a worthy cause. Thinking of booking me and my lad up for it to do.

Whats one of those 3 peaks cunts in the office? I dont understand. Do you mean somebody who does an event such as a triathlon or a marathon and then tells the story about it to anybody who will listen for the next 18 months?! Bit like being a vegan really!
