Agree, but listening to Mark Robins interview on CWR when he meets Joy Seppala he is going want to see some action re the Ricoh and a firm commitment to the budget to invest in the squad for next season and if he doesn't, I think he will go.

He won't have a problem getting a job at another club .
Problem I have I just don’t trust Sepalla on anything ccfc or Tim Fisher, why is he still here ?

Has godden even scored many in the 6 yard box??

His highlight reel is pretty typical of a poacher.

We need to make more of an impact from set-pieces and get better balls in the box to be fair to Gooden.

If he’s had 1 shot in 3 games, there’s two issues: First, he’s not scoring nor in a position to do so. Second, we’re not creating the chances for him.

The most important thing is that the team is playing well, and they are! So I’m not particularly worried about Gooden at this moment.

Don't thinks so we need to know what division we are playing in next season before issuing ultimatums on his future

JCH is a more natural goalscorer however he comes with a headache for the club he is playing at, it sounded like BR were trying to move him on from them in January which purely has to be down to attitude. We don’t need players like that in the squad when you are pushing for promotion
Not in this squad for sure. This is a Team
There’s no J C. or H in TEAM

I don’t care if Godden, Max andBaka don’t score a goal between them for the rest of the season as long as the midfield and defenders chip in enough 1-0’s to get us promoted. So far so good

It's not just about what division the club are playing in next season!

If you're boss keeps making promises to you and doesn't deliver then it's only a matter time before you say, enough is enough and you move on.

Do we know what he has been promised that hasn't happened?

I think you can hear it in Mark Robins interview this week, starting to get frustrated, not heard that before.

He didn’t want to sell Sam McCallum.

When has Robins been lied to?

He’s not a stupid man, he knows we need to sell players and is part and parcel of being a manager outside of a team in the 3rd division.

I wouldn't trust anyone who's made a lot of money in business.

That is quite a deep point and quite true in many respects. To be successful in business you need to be a little Machiavellian and not mind putting a rival business out of business to increase your customer base and make money.
I don't think u need to trust Joy directly but we need to hear from her more than we do currently. Be nice to not always hear her on the huge strategic issues. Maybe her praising the team or manager at training would be a good PR move?
The reason I don't hate SISU is that they get CCFC live within their means which safeguards the club for my children. But the stadium issue needs sorting soon, unless Joy thinks Wasps are on the verge and it will take one more season to get our ground, that they had no business in buying, back.we need to be seriously building a stadium for the club.

In three years he has made mega money on McNulty, Maddison, Bayliss and now McCallum plus some from Chaplin, can’t remember if we got s fee for JCH or not but it all adds up to good few million dollars

Maddison was sold the season before Robins came in.

Been able to sign Bakayoko, Chaplin, Hiwula and Gooden with money. You’re looking at £1-2m there.

He’s also clearly been well supported in signing free agents as we’re competing hard for the title at this rate. Free agents still come with costs attached - wages, signing on fees and agent fees.

We are not in the room, not saying he's been lied to, just promises made and not kept, you can hear it in his voice.

That's not really mega money in terms of 3 years, when you take into account that our costs are likely to have exceeded our income. Plus we have spent some money on players too - Godden, Baka, Chaplin (off the top of my head. MR knows our overall situation and must be happy with the team he has put together. The issue will be potential frustration if there is no sign of a return, stopping him from developing the team/club. Other clubs sniffing around would then make me nervous.

That’s a bit suspect.

It’s obvious that we need to be back playing in Coventry and the fact that we’re having a great season doesn’t change that. So it makes sense for Robins to lay out the importance of moving back to the RICOH to the owners - he’s said that from Day 1.

To use the McCallum example, Robins came out and said his agent wanted to get him a January move in September. That is very clearly not the board selling him against Robins’ wishes.

Was thinking similar thoughts but wasn’t in the mood to argue my point ;)

He signed a contract with us when Sunderland approached him. A team spending millions to get out of this division!

If he wasn’t happy with situation at the club with regards to promises made and so on, he would’ve left.

I think you'll find its the board that have the final say on who is sold! Mark Robins will have his say, which is the same at most clubs.

Just depends how long the manager ( at any club ) puts up with it.

Allen was signed for a fee too & was one of Burton's best players so was quite a coup. Marosi also turned down a new deal with Donny to join us.

There's no doubt Robins has been backed this year considering we're still losing money hand over fist.

I think he'll be looking for 2 promises from Joy:
1) We'll be back in Coventry sooner than later.
2) They will allow him to invest again in the summer given our success this year. Even more so if we earn promotion as we'll need to spend to survive.

If you read the way MR talks of Joy it sounds like a very respectful relationship.

Yep sounds like it to me too. The one thing that surprises me is his choice to say it in a press interview. I think he is much more annoyed at McCallum agent than anyone else. Must be nice to be respected so much by your employer, your team and most of your customers. It can change quickly with your team and customers but you hope your employer has your back
