Thinking about it I have a feeling Ryan Giles will start at the expense of O’Hare,

You know what I think he may keep the same formation as the cup game

marosi
Dabo
McCallum
Rose
Hyam
Mcfadzean
Walsh
Kelly
Allen
Max
Dreadlock hero

A cheeky

3-4-1-2

Not sure on Kelly and Rose

Means a bench of

Wilson
Pask
Mason
Godden
Shipley
Westbrooke
Giles

So no place for Jones just yet
Wow just realised O’Hare not included. No way he won’t be in the 18 but wow

I also hope we have more fans tomorrow, but we all know we’re hoping in vain.

It’s a shame. Of course people have a choice but unfortunately a lot of people are opting for the wrong one.

Think. things are covered
Better off without big game atmospheres
IMO
Although no doubt extra noise v Pompey and Sunderland wouldn't be amiss
But on the whole I think better as we are
Lower the pressure.

They would be more interested in encouraging fans to go to wasps games

Appear to be yes. I think it’s absolutely ok to encourage people to come and not judge them for not coming.
It’s different for Clive and the others to say there’s not many here and instead say it would be great for the fan base to get behind robins and the team in person.

it’s not far, there’s buses put on etc etc. Come on guys this is the day to take the plunge and watch your team.

Not sure about that. The MK Dons game was the flattest it has been all season and it didn't help the team one bit. I think this side respond well to bigger crowds, home and away, not least because the crowds inside the ground has been so positive this season.

I'm a bit disappointed that ticket sales for today are so slow. It could be very quiet in there again.

First home league game I’m missing today. I’m in Amsterdam for the weekend so theoretically should be ok to buy on iFollow without vpn shit etc? Or do you have to have a registered overseas address?

You just dont get it do you?
We dont want to come and watch our team play out of the city(again). Why cant people like you just accept it and move on?

Last month or so Bolton have brought in loads of new players with big focus on defence. Today might be tight.

Politics! Yes well we know what kind of a mess we end up with when politics are involved! Football's brilliant, exciting, and the dedication is something to be admired under the circumstances. It's noticeable how effective the stay-away protest is....heyho!

Not strictly true - it's just a bit more of a ball ache for some. You watch the attendances start to rise if we are still up there in a few games time.
The Birmingham cup (home) game - suddenly the argument falls flat on it's face - and if we ended up in a play off game, all of it goes out of the window again. Sure, a few will say it's on principle, but for a lot I expect it is more the practicalities and nuisance factor - each to their own.
Also like to point out that there were often only about 7k home fans at the Ricoh, so it's not exactly large scale boycott, more of the 'on the day' crowd. That said, we need to come back for the future of the fanbase/club (but not at any cost)

Head says typical City, Bolton pinch a goal and shut up shop and we do everything but score.

Heart says 4-1 City

I'm not sure why you're not getting it either. We're not talking about the people who don't go at all, we're talking about the thousands that have been at various points this season who are choosing to not go today. Some will have valid reasons of course.

Had a quick browse on the Bolton forum, and quite a few think they will beat us, due to a combination of us playing in midweek with extra time and pens and also them having a good record at St Andrews.

Things change and no I don’t understand it but accept people have decided not to invest in their team through choice

Should’ve said city supporting life. I was 6 in 87 and not following football. Got my first season ticket at 9. So don’t know if the honest answer. Did they dominate games like we have this season?
I'm a similar age to you, 2 years older, I started watching in the 87 season. I don't think this is the best team we've had since then but I would say it's as exciting as it's been for many years. We were pretty good at one phase in the late-nineties.

I think the ‘entertainers’ side of 99-00 trumps the current crop.

We once thought we might beat Liverpool at home a few days after they had a tough European game. Lost 4-0
