O’Hare Injury (12 Viewers)

MR said no concussion and fine for Tuesday. Provided they give him a bandage, he should be ok. Obviously won't take any risks with him (and wouldn't have thought Villa would let us take risks)
I'll be surprised if Villa let him play on Tuesday
Parent clubs normally ask their medical staff to look at players who've had injuries
Looks like the lad had quite a few stitches

Wouldn't it be an issue with the stitches though and heading the ball? Maybe he'll wear a Leon mask!

Parent clubs are usually very careful with their young players
Naturally the result isn't as important for Villa as it is for us

Good point, never thought of that. Don't know to be honest.

Surely just a bandage will do. Villa won’t be worried if their player gets a scar or two. It’ll only bleed. It’s not like he’s done his ACL. He’ll be grand!

Good point. I was thinking that Villa might want their doctor to look at him and give their assessment. There’s probably a liability concern with playing loanees with injuries.

It was a clash of heads - you can see why from the stand it looked an elbow but it was a clash of heads

Goes a bit blurry but certainly looks like head to head from that. O’Hare said himself it was a head anyway so not really in doubt.

edit: looks pretty nasty as well from that.

Their player was definitely KO’d from that. Although some on here think it was playacting...

Couldn’t make the game as I was abroad. Can’t believe this is how he did it given some of the descriptions on here. It’s a genuine clash of heads. Sounded like he’d been Ben Thatchered by some

If you saw it from the other side like we did you might think differently, looks like i was wrong from this angle though

It looked worse in real time, but having viewed the video, it looks less like the other player took a cheap shot, which is what I thought at the time, O'Hare only had his eye on the ball, whereas I suspect their player was aware of O'Hare (but the video looks like he went for the ball). You could see it was going to happen before it did, though - which made it worse, somehow.

Tbf I didn’t think it was a red card offence. Two players going for the same ball, but one player much bigger than the other.
Fair play to O’hare for carrying on! Looked a lot of blood being cleaned up at the time so not surprised to see these pictures

He carried on playing with the Butcher bandage - we need him for tomorrow part of our midfield dynamo - things happen when he is on the pitch

Was straight in front of me - hard to tell if it was intentional, but easy to tell it was a dangerous challenge, I thought it looked a cheap shot to get man (and ball?).

You must of been sitting just behind me. Anyway it was a yellow card all day long

I was square on for it. It seemed to me that Nsiala launched himself into as he was a metre away from the ball at the time O'Hare was in mid-air jump. I thought it was dangerous play, not necessarily serious foul play, and was a yellow card offence. That all said, would need to see it back.
Yea it was directly in front of me. I thought he was lucky to escape a card, but seemed out cold in all honesty. Went off and was subbed, so a bit harsh to say he was play acting as some have. Though I did think that at the time lol
