Prob shudnt be forgotten how close we came to conced8ng in last seconds but unrelaistic to not expect a good chsnce in all of injury time i guess

They had one excellent chance at end...and a couple of half chances/decent shots but apart from the one at the end we didn’t look like conceding. We had one 10min spell when we were unplayable...beautiful slick passing. But overall a fairly even game.
Difference between this team and ones of the past...we can get results when we are not at our best, we can grind out results when the game is even, and we have developed a mentality that says we will not be beaten.

I think I'll trust the opinions of the experienced bookies and data analysts that have been successfully using that kind of data for years ahead of you, even if you are our resident footballing genius. Apologies.
The bookies only get it right with their own money, thats why their in the game. Ive posted this on your other thread, were averaging 1.86 points per game. That puts in second at the end of the season a point behind Rotherham but promoted.

This is it. People can bang on about what a good side they are- they are not, they are an “effective” side. They’ll win a lot of games playing that way but it’s horrible, and as soon as they come up against a really solid defence & a side with a bit more guile that can soak up all the long ball stuff they’ll come undone, just like they did tonight.

‘They are not a good side’

Dude this is getting weird now. We set up the same way every week and if the system isn’t aD working well Robins normally switches to 2 up front. We don’t change the approach according to the opposition or anything else. Other teams know this and many have tried to exploit it.

Jackett drilled them well for this game and I’m not the only one to have noted as much. They aren’t a shit side. But you berate anyone who notes that we grind out wins despite not playing particularly well.

Just in... OMG what a finish to a match.
Felt that they were good for a 0-0, neither team really taking the game by the scruff of the neck.
MOM for me was any one of the three centre halves, commanding performances, heading everything that came their way, special mention to O'Hare who I thought was also excellent.
So pleased to win, sets us up nicely for the run in!
Haven't cashed out my bet for us to finish top and won't do just yet!

Just looked on the Pompey board and not one mention of the game tonight. Only post after the finish time was moaning about their purple kit. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Also this is the one time godden wasn’t offside and as I said on here. It just takes one. What a great finish
