Have they saved the club this season with their success?
is that going too far?

The season will only be a success if we are promoted.Have they saved the club this season with their success?

Without doubt it’s made a difference it’s kept the average home fan attendance at about 5000, I think it would have been a lot lower had we been bobbing about in mid-table.
Agree with thisRemember we have achieved nothing yet, like everyone else auto's would be brilliant, but to achieve this alot of work still needs to be done,Robin's needs to keep the team focused, which i believe he is doing,ii feel if we go up,we will be back at the Ricoh next season although nothing concrete, however if we don't i am sure we will it could be the start of a serious slide, losing players which would be inevitable and possibly Robins himself,i just cant see him hanging around when other clubs would warrant his services,we have to go up otherwise it could be disaster, only my thinking of course..so keep focused support the team and prey we do it.

Yes it has to be our time this season.I like many can see us going backwards again if we don’t get out of this league this year.
Lets not forget that next season barring promotion, there will be a mass exodus of players and combine that with a budget based on 5000 on average that went to “home games” and I think we will be snookered!
If we go up then finish 7th in the Championship Robins deserves a statue in Broadgate.
What he will have achieved in the last 3 years despite everything is nothing short of miraculous.
Legend status is around the corner :emoji_clap::emoji_clap:
Again this purely depends on where the club play next year - gates at Birmingham don’t seem that influenced by results
Promotion and outside Coventry is a recipe for disaster
Don’t disagree but need to deal in facts. Pretty certain it’s not a rolling contract it’s a three year deal at St. Andrews that can be broken at any timeMR and the team have created a positive buzz around the club and the city. That is a definite. But have they "saved" the club ? Personally, I'd say no. We're doing well and have 6000 passionate fans that travel to Stans each home game but that figure hasn't changed much all year, regardless of where we are in the table. Championship or League One, if we're struggling next year, can we still see those same 6000 wanting to travel to see their home games ?
Now a sad admission. For the second time in 2020, I'm having to agree with Grendel Birmingham fans and Pep Clotet have been commenting on the poor playing surface at Stans so if the Birmingham board thinks that will affect their position and survival chances next season, I can't see us being welcomed back. And if we get promoted (we have a very good chance but it's still an IF in my eyes), where we play will financially make or break the club.
don't agree. cant see the mass exodus. it will be very stable, both in terms of crowds, squad ability and income
none of that is good though !
Are the accounts 28/2?By definition there will be a big turnaround of players
The loans obviously
The released players - Hiwula, Bakayoko, Wakefield
Players who we want off the books - Kastaneer the obvious one
Players in demand elsewhere - Dabo definitely and possibly Rose and Hyam
The McCallum money is likely to have covered substantial losses which will be ehe watering
It’s absurd to assume there will not be some loss of support and declines in playing quality

Is it too soon to say that I'll miss League 1?
Why ? We lost players this close season first teamers like Burge, Willis first team regular loans like Bright, Thomas and Sterling all played in our last game last season as did Mason and Hiwula add Chaplin and Grimmer. All replaced are we better or worse this season ?
It also potentially allows an extra season for us to grind it out too, if we can harness more income with the same wages.also I think it adds another hurdle in getting back as wasos will see us purely as extra revenue for them

OK, so the wins would be scarce...
