I think both would need to hit form right now to stand much chance of crashing the party. I think Oxford play a couple of the promotion candidates soon so maybe itd be good if they pick up some steam and do some wrecking for us?

Oxford on a poor run since they lost to Newcastle, Gills are on form though, could sneak into the playoffs maybe?

They will still have to play others around us, so don't want them seriously disinterested in games against others. Be nice if they down tools in a few games time and pick up s shed load of injuries and suspensions nearer the time too

Had a look at Oxfords fixtures. Glad they are a long way behind us, as they have a sackful of gimmes between now and the end of the season. Only tricky away game is us, and 2 home games Pompey and Fleetwood. Too far off to catch us (unless we slump) but still think they may scrape the play offs - and they have some good players. Unlikely to be a threat to autos - would probably need to win 11 or 12 out of their remaining 13 games, but very much in with a shout of play offs. Same goes for Oxford & Gillingham. Autos could be any 2 from 1st to 8th.

Every match huge. Best rochdale and 1 or 2 of the top 10 bound to have a bad day. We need to take advantage as much as we can. With each game the finishing line gets closer

And the table isn't really an accurate picture, the games played vary and also some peculiar lob sided home /away fixtures for some teams.
