Yeah it looks like an absolute mission from London, can't be arsed pissing about with replacement bus services so will probably give it a miss unfortunately

That doesn’t quite make sense. Is the replacement bus from Ingatestone or to Ingatestone? I think the last leg of the journey is ING—> IPS so if it’s a bus from there then there is no further train to catch.
Im in London on Friday night so either way I’ve got to go with it. Ta.

Coach from Cov for me, prefer the train but its a pain to get to anywhere in that region

Liverpool St > Newbury Park via Central Line
Newbury Park > Ingatestone via replacement bus
Ingatestone > Ipswich via train
