That Sisu have received new investment from ..........................Hoffman's lot?

Someone said the other day that they couldn't understand why Elliot was involved seemingly with Sisu's side, when he had always appeared to back Hoffman.

As Sisu just represent investors, could these investors not just be Hoffman's Chinese business men?

Could they have finally put their differences aside and now be working in tandem? Work explain the council suddenly changing their stance and talks now being constructive and also the change from Sisu 'not getting their hands on any part of the arena!"

Elliott sways like a reed in the wind.

Elliott appearing to support Tim Fisher at that meeting last week would be more of an indication that the Hoffman "bid", was either dead in the water, or never existed in the first place to me.

Why would you keep harking on about Hoffman Otis?

Long gone and pissing in the wind.

SISU is all we got. We better hope they get something from constructive talks.

Because the headline in the paper on Thursday talked of a Chinese takeover, backed by Hoffman and a few 'insiders' on here confirmed that to be the case.

That's probably why.

We've got more "insiders" than Winston Green prison.

We have.

No wonder the club is run so inefficiently. All the Sky Blues' employees are on here all day posting rumours rather than doing their work.

Was a long shot I know. :D Thought did cross my mind though.

Was thinking this, this morning. SISU using the Chinese purely for capital. I would hope the Chinese are not so daft. Ownership over investment would bring a bigger return.

Hoffman has thought sod it cant beat em join em. its not like he hasn't work with them before. then he and his investors will gradually buy more and more shares, then when they have 50.1 % thus ownership they will strike a deal sisu and with the council for half the ricoh

I cannot imagine ANYONE would be so stupid as to invest with SISU - Unless they don't actually look into the last four years of the running of the club! I certainly cannot believe anyone with that kind of money wouldn't actually look into what it was buying.

They say the talks are transparent, however nothing revealed - HARDLY Transparent.

Personally if ANY councillor offers SISU a part of the stadium I would demand a vote of no confidence and that councillor to be sacked! You simply cannot give away tax payer funded assets to a multi-million pound hedge fund!

SISU are the same people who caused the banking crisis!

Agreed but there are no talks regarding the ownership of the arena, it wa a headline without facts

I can't take much more - there is too much progress being made - all parties now talking, season ticket sales up or at least encouraging, slight hint of optimism for next year from some die hard SBT's - I'm not used to this...................

I must go and lie down

There is an assumption amongst CCFC fans that it is possible to make the club financially viable. None of the owners in my memory have ever had the club in the black even when selling players (Robbie Keane anyone?).

Also hardly any football clubs stay in the black even the ones winning the premier league. Any investor that comes in that isn't a die hard City fan (and as far as I can see GH and JE have no money to invest themselves) is not going to keep pumping money into a business that keeps losing money.

Which is where the Ricoh comes in. That is where money can be made and quite honestly that is completely independently of how City fare as a football club. This is why any deal for CCFC is conditional on getting a stake in the stadium.

Personally I would rather City did a Chester. If you are unfamiliar with what has gone on there then it is worth researching.
