Nah, if you want that, you need to put a few quid on Sunderland to be promoted at 9/4. My ability to pick results isn't that great, I've said Cov would lose the last 5 and they have defied me each time :) Sunderland would drop into the bottom half of the table if I backed them for promotion :angelic::angelic:
Go for it.

I lumped on the day we signed Jamie Allen, had a good feeling with the signings coupled with our performances latter part of last season although this is beyond my wildest dreams!

£30 single at 28/1 with SkyBet
Potential Return £870
Current Cash Out £482.02

Had a little dabble myself. But also got Godden E/W top scorer. He needs to be in the top 3. Took him at 100/1 and 66/1. After his recent goals he is joint 5th but only 1 goal off being joint second.

Yeah I'm on ew at 33/1. Complety wrote it off even after the two hatricks but you never know

Have the bookies confirmed they will just refund the stakes?
Cousin works for one of the large bookies, they have had hundreds of querires.

He said some customers have threatened to take them to gambling commision if they dont pay out on his bet. Some bets are massive.

Exactly. The bookies will need to wait and see how the Leagues award things though surely?

If they say CCFC or Leeds promoted then they have to pay out?

Raised this on twitter. If the season is cancelled presumably all bets are void and therefore stakes returned. But what about all losing bets made on a cancelled event.

You answered your own question. All stakes returned.

Bookies couldn't give stake money back for something that looked a winner but keep what looks a loser.

Can still cash out at £494.

I really don't see how the season can be voided with only 8 games remaining - there will be huge legal repercussions. The season needs to be finished, whenever that is eventually possible.
Euros postponed until 2021 & a shortened season next year would make most sense.

Fuck knows what will happen mate! Anything right now could happen!

Surely the best way for them to avoid legal repercussions is to ensure this season is finished and change the next one as and when necessary so at least everyone would be starting that afresh knowing where everyone stands.

The most sensible thing would be closed door games with everyone tested before the match. I can understand postponing it early in the season or half way but with this amount of games to go it would be daft, it is not the black death out there!

I read this thread again. Phoned the lad and his bet is suspended. I had the cash out option with Skybet.

Here goes: £20. at 16/1 with payback of £340.

£250.61 cash out ...I pressed the button and avoided the angst. It wasn’t worth waiting. Thanks for the money Sky Blues.
Good choice, enjoy!

Paddy Power cancelled cash out almost immediately after the announcement on Friday. I also had 25-1 and 7-1 for champions and promoted respectively

I know Bastards I was at Cheltenham (go for the beer know fa about horses) and one of the lads said “they’ve just announced the league is suspended” I looked at my account and the cash out options gone already! Had £10 on each and was being offered a cash out value of £194 total before the announcement
