He scored and in the first half did cause us problems.
A lucky goal, apart from that it was like they had 10 men

I'm not sure how it was lucky, typical Wycombe goal. The ball fell to Akinfenwa and he put it away well.A lucky goal, apart from that it was like they had 10 men
They have a tricky game away to Burton this weekend, can see them losingI'm not sure how it was lucky, typical Wycombe goal. The ball fell to Akinfenwa and he put it away well.
Disagree about his performance in the first half. Again, typical Akinfenwa, half football, half wrestling but we were under pressure until the third goal went in
The fourth, so early in the second half, killed the game for them.
Just the one goal against us at Adams Park. He's effective at what he does.Akinfenwa is awful, against our 3 in defense he got bullied all game
Looks even more important to get up this season if next year the league is going to have Ipswich, Luton, Charlton, Barnsley, then all but two from Oxford, Fleetwood, Rotherham, Pompey, Sunderland, Posh, Wycombe and Donny. I'm also expecting Blackpool to kick on.That's half of the league that are looking at promotion not taking into account one from league two normally gets in the mix. Going to be a hell of a league.
Can't see it before we start our championship campaign. We will lose at some point. The key will be bouncing straight back with a result and not losing 2 or 3 back to back.
He's due to be chopped down next year I believe.Spot on. Will be a tremendously competitive division next year. Hopefully us along with Fleetwood and Wycombe get the promotion places. I feel that those two have consistently punched above their weight this season and deserve a shot at a higher standard. And selfishly I believe they are the two of the other potential promotion candidates likely to struggle at a higher level (may be wrong there but hopefully not disrespectful). Wont be easy for us either but I just feel we would be the best equipped of the three to stay up.
On a side note...how long before Wycombe can no longer rely on akinfenwe?

They’ll always be a saleable club though. Big stadium, big support and recent premier league exposure means someone will pick them up. Without debts to manage they should have the budget to piss this league with their attendances.Sunderland's parachute payments end this season. Next year they're on their own and despite having monster crowds for L1 will have no choice but to slash their budget considerably. Still a force to be reckoned with but will be very interesting to see how they fare if they don't make it up now
A lot of football fans couldnt see Liverpool going on a losing streak either. It happens. Can't see it before we start our championship campaign.
