can't believe he paid for them, though Eastwood would have tucked them in to his G string gratis when he 'd finished dancing for him.
They are freebies?
Says he's there representing the city council and discussing partnership opportunities. That can't be right as he keeps saying what happens at the Ricoh has nothing to do with him or the council.
The biggest recipient was council chief executive Martin Reeves.
He registered a total of £1,035 - with the most generous party being Wasps who spent £225 on hospitality and gifts for the chief executive.
Next was leader Cllr George Duggins who made declarations totalling £570.
The largest slice of that was again made up of tickets and hospitality from Wasps - with a value of £530.
The code of conduct states that “invitations to hospitality which are not directly linked to the city council’s functions, such as attendance at sporting events, should not be accepted”.
Mr Reeves’ declaration stated he had attended Wasps’ clash with Exeter at Twickenham to “showcase opportunity for sport and the city in light of the City of Culture and Commonwealth Games bids”.
He said his attendance at the end of season dinner was to “promote the city and the region along with key stakeholders and partners”.
Cllr Duggins said in his declarations that attendance at two Wasps matches and the end of season dinner was “to represent the city council as leader”.
If it was promoting the city it would be at a specific meeting, guy is just getting free hospitality.
The declaration he's submitted asks if there's any conflict of interest or future tender involved on the gift he received from wasps. He's answered 'No' . Something tells me he's not been entirely truthful on that has he?
Last year the Telegraph revealed a “technical breach” of the code of conduct by chief executive Martin Reeves.
He was treated to Rugby World Cup tickets by Jaguar Land Rover just two days before the council approved a planning application from the firm.
The relevant passage from the code of conduct read: “You should never accept a gift of hospitality from anyone who is, or may be in the foreseeable future, tendering for any contract with the council, seeking employment with the council, seeking any form of consent of grant, or is in dispute with the council.”
The Ethics Committee decided to revisit the code as a result of the breach.
I get the impression that there is some sort of powerhouse within the council chamber who control everything in a Putin esque way, hiring and firing if they don't get the answers and replies they want. The recent removal of the member on the planning committee was a case in point.Yeah but if he's been up to no good he will go to the "ethics committee" where they will just change the rules to suit. As they did when Reeves was getting freebies on the sly.
They will just change the rules rather than address the wrong doing.
Be time to quickly change the rules again.Interesting, the code of conduct has been breached
Be time to quickly change the rules again.
Last time he got away with it because they said he may not have been aware of the planning application.
I wonder if they will try and say he didn't know about Wasps, Hotel and Car Park C? You would think as an ex ACL director he would know about things like that.

It's a clear breach.
I see Gilbert's tweeted on that, lets hope he's turned a corner and has his eyes opened to the bigger picture.Last time he got away with it because they said he may not have been aware of the planning application.

They are.Maybe SISU aren’t the boogie man we once thought.
Duggins is the king of copy and Paste. Make everything £75
The more that comes out from CCC and Wasps, the more corrupt they seem.
Maybe SISU aren’t the boogie man we once thought.
Hope this gets blown wide open...
As another poster said, he is an enemy of CCFC.
Corrupt fuckers. How about attending a ccfc game or cov rugby game to promote ccc and the city but oh no that doesnt suit the agenda and back handers for planning permission
