Yep, seems to be breaking their rules as wasps are applying for planning permission.

Do you know what the technicalities are of that? Is it Wasps or the hotel company that are applying for permission?

Their commercial director was doing the PR about it.

Would be very naive if the council's CEO tried to play that technicality after he has already had a bit of a slap on the wrist about it.

The planning application was on behalf of a company know as WPS Trading Limited. The company is owned personally by D Richardson, both he and Eastwood are directors

WPS trading Ltd is not part of Wasps Holdings - but is identified because of common directors as a related party

It would be pretty desperate for them to try and claim that as an excuse? Especially as it's a Wasps Employee doing all of the PR and interviews about it.

If a council CEO getting paid hundreds of thousands tries to claim he didn't know it was Wasps then he might look a bit silly.

Although if he says it isn't Wasps because of that technicality then it might be a reason to reject the planning application ;)

@Sky Blue Pete Right behind your on this sort of approach. In fact, I emailed Duggins back in April 2019.
He did at least have the courtesy to reply, but in essence his reply was
