Non League teams (5 Viewers)

With 'elite' football out of action for the next few weeks, non league football (at the discretion of individual leagues) is still going ahead. Which non league clubs are people going to adopt for the next few weeks?

National League:
Solihull Moors - pushing for the playoffs
National League North:
Leamington - lower end of the table but relegation not a worry

Midland Football League Premier:
Cov United are top of the Midland Football League, with the Sphinx doing ok

At this rate wanking will be banned. If I get unlucky for self containing I can’t stay at home as my daughter and er indoors will be there. My old Ma has a lovely summer house at the end of the garden that was built for my old Dad but he passed away before he came home from hospital.
So it’s a long extension cable, a wi fi extension so I can watch Bergerac Kojak Quincy and Diagnosis murder and loads of other shyte no one else is interested in.
Boiled bacon, full fat bacon sarnies on Irish soda bread with half a pound of butter on (ffs Ma only a tiny bit please and on normal bread!) and a dump in the garden lol!

League Suspends Fixtures - Bedworth United

Sorry, not trying to be a pain, just clearing it up so nobody goes when they’re not on. Fairly sure it’s all levels of football have been postponed for some duration. Even my lads age group leagues have been called off (under 7s, under 8s)
I can definitely see some games being called off, depending on a miriad of factors (I see that the Moors game was called off). I think part of the reason for the continuance of some non league fixtures is that they attract much lower crowds but also that there is a bigger financial hit to such clubs, though this is just pure speculation on my part.

My "local" club is Halesowen Town who, in a couple of weeks, were due to play a two-legged semi final for a trip to Wembley in the FA Trophy. A real shame if this goes to pot as potential large gates would help with the cash flow.

That's really impressive for a Step 4 club to be in the last four of a competition featuring Step 1 teams. I'm sure they will find a time.

Yes I don't relly follow them other than a glance in the free rag, but they've done well this season and only a point off auto promotion. If anything like the last time I went to Wembley with them, just prior to us winning the FA cup I think, around 10K went. A decent day out :)

I fancy going to watch Doyler at Notts County currently up to 3rd in the table - reckon they will get a similar gate that we do 7,000 or more.
They’re playing Eastleigh I think.

Not all levels.
I think a lot of jpl and youth teams of professional clubs are off.
Grassroots/Junior football is still on, depending on the county fa. Somerset fa are still playing.

The MJPL's fixtures seem to be going ahead whereas the JPL have decided to call theirs off - it's caused quite a bit of controversy between parents who like to compare the two

It's all a bit mad
Been travelling all over London today on the tube and in couple of bookies, Starbucks a finally a pub for a few hours
Probably seen 10 people out of thousands wearing masks
Are we all going to die?
Probably not
Remember my grandparents telling me about how it was in the war
Think that was a bit worse

Grass roots football in Norfolk still on even though the game I was due to adjudicate at tomorrow has been called off due to one side having 3 players showing flu like symptoms. No recorded CV cases in Norfolk so far but it's just a matter of time.

If wanking gets banned then that's a real crisis

the tube is way worse than a large outdoor sporting event. Surely its not far off a shut down of this ?

No one who is a CCFC fan should support Cov United.

They were formed in reaction to us moving to Northampton, therefore using our shiity situation as a way to promote themselves.

They are not a true alternative Coventry club as far as I'm concerned. Support Coventry Sphinx instead.

Someone had to say it. Well done that man (or woman).
To my disgust a couple of our away day contingent are on their way down there today. Big let down.
