He wants to factor money from the Sky / Premier league for the next 5 years to have the cash now to help clubs get through it all.

He is on about £600k to get through.

Also suggesting free loans from the Premier league teams next season, then not charging non league teams for loans and passing it on.

I'm glad someone is already on our side. If they try and cancel the season then most of the clubs will kick up a storm so I think it's highly unlikely it happens.

Talk of voiding the season with at most 10 games to go is absurd and even sides in the relegation zone would have to admit that. The comment about providing some kind of relief for people kept locked inside for months shouldn't be underplayed either.

This could drive a big wedge in Sky TV their worry is they know it’s football that sells their product, not movies, nor Q boxes or multi room, I’ve cancelled my whole package all the family have I know others who have, not sure if many will return.

I feel this will cause a significant amount of problems amongst clubs personally. Obviously a huge factor will depend on who guarantees playing time but realistically will Premier League clubs send their best and brightest to the likes of a struggling AFC Wimbledon over a promotion-chasing Peterborough? At least before money was a stumbling block for why the likes of the former lost out on players to 'bigger' clubs, whether they be permanent or on loan. Now if they're handed out for free I can such a rule causing nothing but uproar as I just don't see how anyone can measure that fairly.

22 mins long! Think I’ll save that for another time :)

I did start to watch it though and straight away it got me thinking;

Is there anyone else who says ‘erm’ so much in such a short space of time! Maybe when I watch all 22 minutes I’ll count them! :)

This should be the case anyway. Players should be with the big clubs who have a chance at breaking through. Not hundreds signed so they can make money off them and they cast them aside. IMO the loan system would be much better if the parent club still paid wages and there was no fees, players would go wherever was best for their development rather than best for someones pocket.

It's not like you put in the request and they have to send the player. The club or player can reject the move if they desire. They just can't charge a team for it. That obviously has implications as teams will want players to be at more successful clubs so it will be skewed in that manner, but that is still the same as it is now. Also more successful teams tend to be the ones with more resources that could afford the loan fees of the better players, so it's not really any different anyway.

I still say maximum squad numbers and anyone outside of that is automatically a free agent. Get this talent filtering down the pyramid, actually playing football competitively for a 'realistic' wage rather than massively over-inflated PL wages on a loan.

You’ve got plenty of spare time on your hands now - pubs shut for months & no footy!
