They're have my sympathy and praise for the work they’re doing !

Do you know his diary for the day, where meetings might’ve taking place, how fluid they might be, how long they light go on for ? Also how those conferences are arranged (with the various attendees) ? I might be wrong but I don’t see many other world leaders doing a daily briefing with Q&A (apart from possibly trump and his daily shitshow)

Johnson, quite rightly took flack at the election for not fronting up to wider media outlets but as I say, give him a break for not holding a press conference for a day or two

ps I’d rather have him spend that hour, plus prep dealing with pressing issues turning up on tv just to please everyone
Yeah but PVA just wants to say the opposite to him so he is struggling now.

Why the arguing?

Drinking public with mates wrong
Gathering in supermarkets wrong

That said not official lockdown so not sur eif either is against law.

Ill google it later. I was just.making a joke about ppl crying about pubs closing thats all

Although fact you so defensive at even fairytale notion of prohibition taking away your beer maybe proves my point....lol

It wouldn't take away my beer. It would put it's quality control, distribution and profit in the hands of gangsters rather than breweries and pubs and deprive the government of tax revenue.

It's frankly astonishing you still don't get it.

The government have literally just banned it (for good reason), and you're still defending people doing it.
He isn't defending it.

The point he is making is you can't sit away from each other in a pub but you can barge each other out of the way when shopping.

Other countries are limiting the amount of people in a shop and making people keep their distance. We get told to keep our distance. But when shopping no rules seem to count. They are virus spreaders.

i wouldn’t be surprised if some supermarket rules get brought in over the next day or two following government meetings today, as this behaviour has got to stop (as you say the close proximity of people queuing just goes against the general advice - that’s not to say it justifies going to the boozer though !)
Supermarkets here have signs instructing people to stay 1.5m apart. Difficult in many as that's the standard aisle width.although not that crowded as shelves pretty empty.
People here generally being sensible and have been staying home. Park and rides at about 25% capacity.
also isn't a big bar culture (outside of the tourist centres) so not a huge issue here.

Pharmacies only admitting same number of people as tills open. Luckily weather isn't too bad.

People aren't getting it, they were going on that a bloke in a pub is going to kill his gran but standing about queuing for hours in shops is fine.

Its almost as if they aren't bothered about the spread and just wanted to act like pricks.

Pubs are alot smaller and social so unrelaistic to sit away from others

Both locations are virus spreaders

No, they are still allowed to do takeaway. Shops are still allowed to sell cans.

Its isn't illegal.

Still, no mention of hundreds stood about next to each other for hours?

Handful of blokes playing golf are all a disgrace.

Radio silence.

Yes, but they're not allowed to have people drinking on the premises sat round tables together.

And for the 8643248643818th time - people need to go to the shops, they don't need to go to the pub.

Yes, but they're not allowed to have people drinking on the premises sat round tables together.

And I don't know why you keep mentioning hundreds stood around for hours at the shops, slight exaggeration don't you think.

There is no exaggeration. Hundreds of people are stood around for hours at the shops.

You still aren't getting it are you.

People DO NOT need to be outside shops hours before they open and causing huge queues.

You are the one defending what is a higher risk chance of spreading.
