I don’t propose putting links up to the incidents that happen in the U.K. every day, you are very passionate about proving “we are better than them” so you carry on.

but like I said- very depressing how even now for certain people the only people worthy of raising questions to are these barbaric, filthy Chinese, you know all 1.4bn of them that go around doing this every day.
Except you could put up a link of someone in China doing that every day, because it happens every day.

We are better than them, there I said it. Not all cultures are equal.

“As bad” in what way?

China lacks even the most basic sanitation in some wet markets. It’s a death trap and they need to be told that they will get a grip or sanctions go in. There are 1.4bn people in China and a small fraction are engaged in this stuff- which having seen it is unlike anything you could imagine, it’s like a horror film.

But.. you can’t write off an entire country as barbaric & dirty based on that, if you do I will point out that the entire U.K. is barbaric and twisted based on the small fraction that go out tearing foxes to pieces.

And in any case can anyone really see our government (whatever party) trying to put sanctions on China? We wrote a letter of apology for even referring to ‘Tibet’ if memory serves- it ain’t gonna happen. Only way that works is multiple nations acting together, which subsequently suggests that going around slagging off those same multiple countries is stupid. It’s a global problem, all this “we are the best” stuff is pathetic. Unilaterally deciding that China are dirty and “they need to be told to fuck off” is a waste of time and just allows people to get some anti-Chinese sentiment off their chests.

So there you go. As always the usual suspects unable to have any balance whatsoever and turning it into an exercise in jingoistic sabre-rattling.
Did you read about the food festivals where they blowtorch live dogs? Did you understand it?

Fox hunting?

Fuck off.

Do I need to quote his.post? Are you also going to defend the China food markets and festivals?

Feel free to quote his post as it will prove your accusations to be false.

I don’t know why you’ve decided to take this so personally and go on a crusade just because I gave a like to a post.

And there you go- it never takes too long to get the truth when you put these people on the spot with some facts.

Always on the case of defending the underdog no matter how barbaric they are.

Even the Chinese are starting to stand up against it in vast numbers.

Are they? I didn't realise, that's good news.
As is the increasing numbers here who are going veggie or vegan. As a species we really need to change our eating habits.
Got to admit, I thought China would be a hard nut to crack regarding this issue.

Fuck off.

I think you, Tom, Coventrian & co need to get together and work out what you’re gonna do with all this anger at the Chinese & ‘foreigners’, its a bit weird and most definitely unhealthy.

So what's racist about what I've just said? Carry on burying your head in the sand. Its happening down there as we speak. Large swathes of certain communities will not adhere to the rules but we're not allowed to say that are we as we're branded racist by people like you.

You’re allowed to say what you want but if people here criticise our government you and others will call us Quislings and traitors. Goes both ways brah

The social divide there is massive, makes us look equitable. There are huge divides on this. But people won’t care about that, they want someone to blame.

That’s harrowing.

Your reply. And what the vast majority would say especially when they are not.point scoring

its horrendous. But I also find it massively unlikely that someone dealing with that situation has time to prepare a well written & lucid article. And the ending is pure Hollywood- I do not doubt what’s happening, but I also call bullshit that a health worker wrote that.
You was saying......

HAHA! It wasn't about animals at all, you got there in the end though with your white supremacy. I was agreeing with you general points regarding treatment of animals as well, that's how they get you!!

what’s your point? I stand by every word of that- no doubt it’s horrendous but I don’t believe that article was 100% penned by a health worker. I don’t get what’s so controversial about that opinion.

What facts have you given? And who are these people? I find the the fact that you think we are somehow comparable to China hilarious to be honest.

It will be hard to crack. But you do have millions of animal lovers in China. Their pets get stolen and have their lives ended up in this barbaric way. The Chinese government rule the internet but word gets about.

To play devil’s advocate here, what about shark fin soup and mass whaling?

So why are you accusing him of saying it’s not happening when he specifically said it is? And me of the same just because I liked his comment when I also specifically said I don’t doubt it’s happening?

The implicit criticism of a brexit supporting newspaper.

You’ve accused foreigners of being thick on the basis that they’re foreigners and don’t understand why that’s racist. Have I got that right?

never been to China, but I went to Hong Kong and was surprised how much they loved their dogs, (generally little things because a lot live in apartments), I thought it might be something that carried over from being under British rule.
The wet markets I saw there were all fish, no animals though that doesn't mean there weren't any but I didn't see them.

Changing it again I see.

He said it was written by the nurse. You agreed. The article said it wasn't written by the nurse. You back him up. You both muddy the water.

isn't whaling Japanese and Scandinavia? I think the shark fin thing is disgusting, absolutely barbaric.
But his comments were our culture is better than Chinas, doesn't sound like he was referring to purely animal welfare..

The implicit criticism of an article that couldn't have been written by the nurse....when it actually said it wasn't written by the nurse.

Then he has the balls to say people don't understand what they read.

Keeping in mind that he probably got the same jibes in the past for having an Irish mum
Forgot that was him. Ironically I remember me getting the same thick jibes because I’m from an Irish family, used to get called spud a lot as well as spitting image always used to use a potato to represent the Irish in sketches.
