I'm sure some will but you'd said you couldn't see how they could claim it. Email is out today and sounds like they are looking to put a lot of people on it.

Hourly paid can as there is no wage differential - I can’t see how any staff salaries employee can

Seen the West Yorkshire plod sending people letters saying they can't drive to exercise no matter how local. Nothing in the law saying that
Its a mess. Here you've got the council saying they aren't closing car parks unless the park itself is overcrowded with people not observing social distancing. Why keep the car parks open if nobody is supposed to drive there?
GMP telling people they an only be exercising for 1 hour, again not in the bill passed on Thursday
They're going to end up creating more problems than they solve. Like this crap about people not buying Easter eggs, what's the issue? If someone is already there to do their shopping who cares. They'll just end up pissing people off and getting ignored, or worse. If they're going to restrict what you can and can't buy there needs to be a list published by the government so everyone knows where they stand. Can't have the police making it up as they go.

Also find it a bit odd that for years now we've been told the police are understaffed and can't investigate car crime, burglaries etc. Now all of a sudden, in the midst of a crisis, they've got time to check peoples shopping.

There was another force tweet pictures of people queuing outside a Tesco imp, lying that they were not making essential purchases. They were at a massive supermarket how do they know what people are buying

It specifically says salaried as well.

There will be salaried staff such as MP&L on site affected plus any Whitley/Gaydon engineering staff who can’t work from home.

Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales and IT e.t.c still being paid as they’re able to work from home and their work still required.

Going to need to sell those new defenders when this is all over.

The way the company seems to have it's priorities I'm sure these people will still be getting paid after all the engineering and production staff are gone and there's no product for them to sell.

I have had a lot of messages from friends across the continent seemingly being made aware that we are making a bit of a hash of it.

I think some of the instructions are right, but some of this micro policing seems a bit silly.

Making a statement about a bloke who went to pick something up he brought on Ebay. I dunno, he shouldn't have done it probably, but certain bodies and members of the public are acting as if he ran into a school and started shooting people.

Think that’s just England (another 21 for NI, Scotland and Wales I think)...might be wrong though,

Still positive that it’s not shot up exponentially. Fingers crossed we can keep it that way
Yes that’s true mate 29 for the rest of the uk in total

Complete nonsense and unenforceable, they'd get laughed out of court.
That'll be the problem. They're OK as long as people just pay the £30 fine but if people start challenging the courts are going to potentially have hundreds or thousands of these cases to deal with on top of their backlog.

TBF I imagine there’s quite the drop in crime when you close all public places and tell everyone to stay indoors.

People are already though

Unlikely though but let's hope so

Just hypothesising here, but could be that quite a few people started taking things into their own hands a week or so before the government as it became clear the issues in Italy were serious. That would mean you’d see some impact around now.

That said we’ve seen two or three day stalls before then it getting back on trend.

I'm feeling a sudden momentum growing in the media calling for the season to be cancelled - from Harry Kane & Rio Ferdinand over the last couple of days saying that they think the season should be scrapped to UEFA hinting at the same. I now understand that Scottish Football are taking legal advice ahead of possibly voiding the current season.
This is very worrying and unfortunate for teams like us - I don't understand why they cant simply restart & conclude the current campaign as soon as we get the all-clear to resume, regardless when that will be - I just don't get it!

Of course they won’t have plenty - it’s not a huge salary and people will take loans and lifestyles suited to an income not half of it - also for workers it would breach union agreements
50k is a huge salary for anyone who hasn't lost track of reality.

Can't afford to save on 50k or more a year? Living beyond your means. Too much debt when you shouldn't need debt. If you can afford to save you should be able to live well on 2.5k a month.

No need to do a Billy Big Bollocks especially at a time like this.

We can take numbers for what they are but it has to be said we have had a slow drop last 2 days where Italy an Spain never done this they just went up & up

They will have to try and finish unless it is really impossible to. The SFA would have their arses handed to them court by Celtic

If this season is voided I think I’ll be taking a break from football maybe never to come back I know the kids will be massively upset the years of shit we’ve had to be so close for thst to happen is unthinkable

Can you imagine the amount of court cases the premier league & EFL would have in their hands let’s not forget SISU batter people in court altho I’ve not seen them win one yet ;)
