Doesn't sound like they are voiding, although not much detail given. Assuming they're waiting to see what football league do.

They need to clarify if the EFL will accept promoted teams based on the table as it stands. They cannot decide before they hear.

I have a relative who works for an EFL club. He has been told that players will report back for May 16. Staff to be in the week before. This seems to tie in with rumours on here. Also seems a logical time as the current lock down measures seem certain to be eased in a couple of weeks in line with other countries. Football seems to be starting up in Germany etc, if only to be behind closed doors. (Swedish teams to play in front of crowds however).

After a slow start in the league they had built up a real head of steam before the season was halted, and are are potentially one of the biggest losers from this decision, as their momentum and larger support would have given them an advantage in a play off scenario. I guess if there is a null and void scenario there is a chance they could get their league place back through the back door as the beneficiary of Bury's demise, should the EFL decide that as the team that finished 2nd bottom in the previous year they should take their place.

70 +% of the season played. No way pretending that didn't occur is reasonable. Scotland didn't and while there a separate entity it should set some sort of presendent.

Backed them at odds huge odds promotion and top 3 after about 8 games when they signed about 12 players in one day. Needless to say I'm fucking miffed at this.

I wouldn’t want to say as any info I put on here at odd times I wouldn’t want to be traceable back to him. It’s a lower league club.
