They've got to find a bond payment first

They will find that

Nicky “Derek I need £1.1 m now”

Derek “Cant you get those twats from that poxy council to pay? Tell that George bloke he can have a free steak sandwich if he sorts it along with his season ticket”

Nicky “there’s no games Derek”

Sound of another smashing of a piggy bank reverberates round Jersey

Naturally will garner local objections, of course it will the locals said at the start they weren’t welcome and I wish them the best of luck in the fight against these magpies

Has anyone got a clue who PRL INVESTOR LIMITED are. Looks like its all the heads of Premership rugby teams registered as one company. But apart from that no information

I assume its prem rugby limited. but odd as there is 11 directors yet 12 teams in the league

The thing is, as with everything any objections by actual people who live there were laughed away as "it is SISU and Les Reid" objecting.

Let's hope they fuck it off and tell them to do one.

A couple of months ago Wasps would have been looking forward to getting CCFC back paying rent at the Ricoh, in the Championship with 20/25000 fans chomping on their pies and drinking their beer, paying for their parking, using their Casino, staying in their hotel, to subsidise their failing Rugby team playing in front of 10k happy clappers.

The fat lady is clearing her throat

'The offer of 1000 tickets per year is laughable. They're playing in front of 8-9000 people in a 33000 stadium. It's not something that's hard to offer when you've already got thousands of empty seats.'
Now that's a burn...

I agree with this completely. They tried to fuck our club over, stole our home and evicted us to Birmingham. We owe them nothing and if there is a possibility of some short term pain to take them out of the equation I'd deal with it
They never stole our home you baby they bought what Sisu said they didn't want . Grow up

I wonder whether the Ricoh could be one of the neutral venues PL is looking at.
It had crossed my mind as it has everything they would need, just off the motorway, central, hotel on site. Pitch would be the big thing though

The pitch would be fine.
No rugby being played on it and little chance of adverse weather to affect it.
Wouldn't want this to happen as I guess they would get paid a hefty amount from the PL.....

It is a testing centre at the moment and that will be for a while nobody will want their team anywhere near that

The only way they can continue trading after this is all over is if the owner bails them out yet again and covers the bond payment of which I very much doubt he will as he wanted this bond to pay the original loan he made to the shit bags.
If I was him I’d be having some sleepless nights along with a missus nagging him about the money owned to them!

Last year I heard he had over 50% of his fortune tied up in them, would be more now. I doubt he has the cash to bail them out much more, definitely not the bond payment. He has to either cut his losses or sell his other businesses knowing the cash is going into a black hole rugby club.

Exactly right, he has previously been reported as nearing the limit of what he could put into Wasps and that was before the impact of the current crisis and the potential impact of Brexit.

Add in talk of the whole league being in financial trouble and clubs breaking away and forming their own league and I'd be amazed if he hasn't had thoughts about what his exit strategy would be. I'm struggling to see what the exit strategy would be without someone being prepared to cover the bond.

Would be pretty sweet if Robins and the players had been quietly buying up the bonds

Wasps make £4.6m profit - but it's not all good news

I wonder what freebies idiot Bridge got for that crock of shit
Let’s be 100% honest here that this Bridge chappie is Wasps biased and not capable of being neutral in his reporting. I seen last year wasps sent him and then his new baby wasps kits of which instead of politely refusing took and then twittered the planet with them wearing the free kits. It’s embarrassing but I get what wasps are doing as their obtaining positive press from the already biased waspsagraph’ and a journalist’s that is guidable. I doubt this Bridge chap will get another gig in sports reporting after the telegraph have finished with him.

if Bobby bridge left the telegraph and went to work for the wasps the average iq would increase for both parties..

I wouldn't have a problem with that if he was only reporting on the playing side. Really anything past that should be dealt with by a news or business reporter depending on what the story is.

The other issue is that you've got him presenting everything to do with Wasps as a positive while anything to do with us has a negative slant put on it. So you end up with a Wasps story big enough to feature in the nationals with a director being linked to cocaine and prostitute not getting a mention but one of our players leases a new car and they have a go.

I’m a little surprised that the editor of the waspsagraph hasn’t at this stage called him in the office for a bit of private counselling and reflection time on his writing qualities.
