The defence was okay and as you say went onto achieve better things than CCFC but the midfield was weak. This was a team looking to get into the Premier League and it featured Doyle who never got another Championship club after us and played in League 1 and 2 for the rest of his career, Buzelin who went to SPL played 4 games and that was his career over and Osbourne who went to SPL

Indeed, think there is a fair bit of cherry picking going on regarding that team. It had some decent players and some pretty poor players and overall was probably mid table Championship rather than promotion contenders

I think we rarely saw him fully fit so hard to judge how good he was? His attidude seemed good and he seemed as frustrated with his injuries as anyone. I wish him well.

Never rated Coleman as a manager and if anyone mentions Wales; he was gifted tbat team that was already built and functioning with success.

Plus one of the most talented players to come out of the British Isles, at his physical peak
