Haha it’s probably the safest option actually and just try to keep up with car ahead while ignoring the one inches from your bumper.
That's the one :)

Love driving in Milan though. They are more mental than anywhere in the UK. I laugh, the wife just closes her eyes.

when she’s driving :emoji_fearful:
She did do it once when we first got together when driving. I went absolutely mental at her. She has finally stopped doing it when I am driving now. She has even learned to shut up when the weather is bad so I can concentrate on the idiots on the road.

What I heard is that the guy smashed into a car and then tried to drive off and then smashed into another couple of parked cars.

An Old Boy came out of his house and starting having a go at the driver who then got out and starting whacking the Old Boy. Two builders who were working on a house (outside) then ran over and grabbed the guy and pinned him to the floor and another member of the public came over and helped restrain him.

They held him down till the police came and then supposedly he just went limp and the police started resuscitation and then the paramedics turned up and took over but the guy died.

The guy was a bit of a big lad so the guess was he had a heart attack but it's been referred to the police comission so guess we'll find out.

The builders who pinned him were taken to the station and questioned and were there for most of the day but then we're released without charge.

Or so I hear.

Christ, let's hope it doesn't get silly and the builders aren't charged with anything.

I don't class myself as a good driver. I don't know how you'd measure it.
What I do know is I never drive like a fucking idiot speeding about or cutting in front of people.
I'd rather get there late than not at all is my mantra

Haha some of the driving here really is something else, you should try driving in Palermo, Napoli or Catania, it makes Milan seem calm.
Once saw a bus get bored of a queue in Catania, mount a pavement and then continue driving in a cycle lane.

I was in Ho Chi Minh City in August and learned how to ride a motorbike there. Navigating those streets with thousands of bikes is extremely frightening. You have to just go with the chaos. Trying to get out the city to head north almost claimed my life a few times.

You then look at the UK where the risks in comparison are nothing, yet you see so many people driving like idiots. I honestly think it's intelligence with a lot of them. Thick as fuck.

Yeah well I went down the A45 the first day it opened right, and I did a couple of laps, I pulled over, the bloke that runs the thing comes over and said - Oi no professionals. I wound my window down, I said I'm not a professional. He said - you're not a profesional? I said - No, he said - well you should be, if I was you I'd take up Formula One, and if you drive like that you'd probably be the best in the country! I said - I'm not interested I'm making shit loads out of computers.
