Dident seem to have a bad attitude at Cov - Maybe down to Man management by Robins - Would take a punt quality player on his day
Grimmer and Davies said he was missing team meetings. They said Robins just accepted it at the time as he was winning games for us but if it was a less talented player wouldn’t have happened

There’s another story on there from Grimmer, Monday training session all the players are there apart from Bright. Davies gives him a call and asks where are you, “I’m in Germany” he responds

Yep they said he basically did what he wanted on and off the pitch but Robins but up with it as he was a class above at that level. They also suggested that's why he was struggling to get games. Move up a level and you can't get away with it as you're no longer a class above everyone else so its time to put the work in.

Have to trust Robins judgement on this one. Wouldn't be surprised if he speaks to him but it will probably be a case of trying to work out if the last 12 months have been a wake up call for him. You'd hope so after being bombed down to the youth team at Wigan and set back to Wolves early only to then be released by them. If that doesn't kick him into action nothing will.

I suppose if he is free could be worth a gamble, but I it’s going to be a different transfer market this summer with the virus issue, going to be a lot of provern players looking for clubs this summer and it’s a buyers market.

despite the talk above, MR was desperate to get him last summer
I guess if he could get a season or two into him and sort his behavioural side out there would be good profit potential there.
Personally I genuinely think Bright tried to engineer his move to us but Wolves wouldn't play Ball.

I’d be tempted. Going to have an O’Hare shaped hole in the squad. Depends how Robins wants to set up though. He doesn’t do the work required for the box midfield role IMO.
really ? The lads got one of the best engines I’ve ever seen in a player

This is fucking hilarious, last year people were cuming in their pants at the thought of him signing for £600k.
A year later, and the same people dont even want him on a free!!! FFS, have a word!!!
Our best 2 midfielders arnt even ours as it stands!

MR got the best out of him, and he felt wanted here, if he's been released by Wolves, that could well be the kick up the arse he needed.
Imagine him, a year older, stronger, fitter, wiser and
now motivated to prove a point!
I'd have him back in a heart beat.

I guarantee his agent will be in contact with robins if he hasn’t been already

He was talented but he did nothing off the ball, if he was in the side this season we'd have been nowhere near as successful.

I think he changed his mind in the end
We can all only take just so much shit - & I think Robins has a lower threshold than most people

Wanted too much money to come, so stayed at Wolves instead and went out on loan. Players choice.

Good in league one under Robins but has done nothing since leaving us, unable to prove himself. Many players with similar stories. Stay clear and focus. We have a very good squad and I think we may get O'Hare. Not so worried about Walsh tbh as he was considered not good enough for Bristol even though has played really well for us. The step up may not go so well? O'Hare on the other hand looks a class act ready for a step up. Bayliss is another one that has not proven himself yet at a higher level after leaving us. I think Kelly also will find it more difficult. Think a few key spots will need tweaking with loanees of quality from the prem. I guarantee MR's and AV are already chomping at the bit with a list of targets in good order.

To be fair in that year he seems to have gone backwards and we are staring down the barrel of the Championship... would still take a punt on him

But we may be in a higher division next season, which will be harder and can we possibly afford to have one maverick? He was on loan in said division this season and barely played.

Now you may be right about him getting the kick up the arse he needs but going on trned with this type of player I'll suggest more likely he won't. If he's allowed to get away with it he'll slip back into those habits. If he's not I can see him and the manager having a falling out.

The box midfield may actually suit him as he'd have another ACM next to him to carry a bit of the load and two DCM's behind him and as you say two of the midfielders aren't ours. Burt if we had to make choices Walsh is priority, then probably O'Hare, then Enobakhare, depending on wages etc.

I’m not sure what more Wolves could have done for him. Sent him to Kilmarnock and then Wigan away from possible influences and the outcome was the same

It's not a bad excuse for missing a shift but it doesn't beat my all time favourite, ' I couldn't come in, I'd been arrested for throwing a pasty at a paedophile".

Much more interested in the rumours that O’Hare has rejected a contract at Villa. If we can pick him up for compensation we’d be laughing. Think he genuinely likes it here and wouldn’t have to move or anything and cements himself as a first choice player. Also heard a while back we had a bid in for Walsh depending on promotion. Don’t know if it still stands but it could be that Bristol City are more receptive after all this.

He's a good player who should be flying now
But he can't be relied on to be anything other than unreliable
His motive is money and anyone who plays with him knows it
There are a few like him around in any era
The best example currently is Ravel Morrison who could be anything
But he chooses to be an arsehole
