A neighbour left a case of Heineken on our doorstep as a thank you for cutting his grass a few times since lockdown , they are ok . But might be moving onto something else got a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio for later

Haven't had an alcoholic drink in 8 weeks.
Just can't get motivated to drink away from the pub. Don't feel any different mentally or health wise, but have saved a few bob. I'm still living in city centre but return home next week, but with pubs closed there's no temptation, yet if they were open I'd have been on the lash numerous times !

Drop of red for us. First since Saturday. Partly to eke out the dwindling stocks, as we haven't been on a wine run to Calais since before Christmas, and it's looking a bit bleak! Will be on the first boat across the channel when we're allowed!!

Back to Bell Green. Just been packing to return. 10 weeks away been at my son's flat , then the Premier Inn, and now city centre place. Gone quick really. Got me finally down for a new place soon though, told me I'm second on the list and entitled to good choices. So hopefully I get a decent move as soon as this virus fades away ?
