So, after weeks of delays and bullshittery, we're back to square one with the only 2 real options back on the table. And according to that reporter, we're still no closer to getting a result. Well done to all who've extended this drama well beyond its 15 minutes of fame. I'm off to watch the Marble Grand Prix. Jelle's Marble Runs
Of course, the suggestions were getting ridiculous, Ipswich and Gillingham in a play off? Bollocks

Vote to play on in my head will be

Peterborough
Sunderland
Ipswich
Tranmere

Possibility of

Oxford
Doncaster
Fleetwood
Gillingham
Portsmouth

Can't think why any others will
Bristol Rovers have said that they want to play on so their manager can use the games to help prepare for next season.

How do you come up with a prediction model that gives us a 16% chance of missing out on automatic promotion (which is what the math says), but allows us to be "happy" about that outcome when the dust has settled. Right now, we are all in "100% getting promoted mode", and with good reason, but essentially you are arguing to come up with some sort of system that gives us a chance of missing out.... eg that supercomputer that predicted us to miss out on the final game of the season...

What is a matter of fact is the points we have got on the board so far. There is no subjectivity about that fact. Straight PPG, not weighted, not anything else.

I think they better scrap FIFA's World Rankings then :D

Surely Oxford, Fleetwood, Portsmouth or Wycombe won’t vote to extend and risk getting bombed out of the play-off spots.

I see it like this:

Definite votes for PPG

Coventry
Rotherham
Burton
Blackpool
Bristol Rovers
Lincoln
Shrewsbury
Accrington
MK Dons
Rochdale
Wimbledon
Southend
Bolton

Definite votes for play on:

Peterborough
Sunderland
Doncaster
Tranmere

Swing Votes:

Oxford
Portsmouth
Fleetwood
Wycombe
Ipswich
Gillingham
Mmmm!!
Wonder if the bookies are offering odds on the outcome of this?
Could be tasty !!

I sort of tried not to really look on here or twitter today because it annoys me when a decision still hasn’t been reached.

Word of the day: Procrastinate

A whole week then for the teams to get bullied into voting to carry on the season, what a load of bullshit why can’t we have the vote Friday.... hope we don’t get fucked over

Can't see how they can be bullied - nobody can afford to 'bribe' them, and playing the games is going to cost a shed load of cash. As for Bristol Rovers saying they want to carry on to help prepare for next season - believe it when I see it - they can't afford to chuck money away on playing games that will cripple them financially.

So the two options will be:
A - ending season early with Promotion/Play Offs/Relegation decided by PPG
B - Resuming behind closed doors

Option A table looks like

1. Coventry,
2. Rotherham,
-------------------
3. Wycombe,
4. Oxford,
5. Portsmouth,
6. Fleetwood,
-------------------
7. Peterborough,
8. Sunderland
9. Doncaster Rovers
10. Gillingham
11. Ipswich Town
12. Burton Albion
13. Blackpool
14. Bristol Rovers
15. Shrewsbury Town
16. Lincoln City
17. Accrington Stanley
18. Rochdale
19. MK Dons
20. AFC Wimbledon
---------------------
21. Tranmere Rovers
22. Southend
23. Bolton Wanderers

Would you think 3-6 will vote to play on ?

Vote next week..... :(

Where they've said one of the options is play the games have they given any details of how they will achieve that? Loans will have ended, players will be out of contract, no fans means games being staged at a loss, hundreds of thousands needed to cover cost of testing. Those seem like fairly important details to have if you're considering voting for the games to be played.

Vote next week..... :(

I think Portsmouth have implied they ready to settle for this option, PPG unweighted.

This is the one.

Still saying this is the most accurate thing available to work out where everyone is in the league but, well, you know,..

Oxford Fleetwood, Pompey would be crazy to vote to play on. Under PPG they have play offs guaranteed and 2/3 wins means promotion. If they play on they have to play 9 games to even qualify for play offs and could drop out of the running.

Or the chance to go up automatically

Of course they could get autos but that would take about 6/7 wins rather than 2/3 in play offs. Madness

140k per club for testing for a start

no chance games will be finished in my eyes of they we’re I’m certain we win it out right which would be good I’m still certain it will be PPG

What would happen if a team from an area with an R rate of 0.2 is expected to travel to an area with a R rate of 0.9 ?
Can you honestly see this being allowed?

And what would happen if a play off team sees its squad decimated because half the squad have failed the virus test?

Face it, the season is already over, the league just hasn't realised it yet!

Was it you that put up the simulated table or was it some bet 365 tool
Think it put us 78% 1st and around 90% for promotion.
