What are the supporters of Wycombe, Oxford, Portsmouth and Fleetwood saying on their forums ? I think their views will go a long way in these four guaranteed a play off place under PPG in which way they vote.
Looking at Oxford forum just now they would be happy to take a PPG scenario, the fans that is.. Let's hope the owners feel the same, the financial gain is far greater than the risk to continue and miss out imoI would risk it I think, it’s so tight and form will be pretty much out of the window.
I think people will be surprised about how many clubs in the PO places would want to play on, they’re going to fancy going after the top 2

Those four clubs will be barmy to vote alongside Peterborough, they all play each other and Posh apart from away games against us and Sunderland away you couldn’t ask for a better run in fixture wise. What are the supporters of Wycombe, Oxford, Portsmouth and Fleetwood saying on their forums ? Bird in the hand though comes into it. Guaranteed 'semi final' play off or risk falling out of top 6. Yes - might catch top one (they will assume we are out of reach
It works in the same way but it has become commonplace to leave out writing the probability factor if you tie the timeframe of games to games played instead of timestamping each of the games for the season.
Its a simplification. The RD only goes down now instead of partially increasing or decreasing for times between games.
It always tickles me because you can tell what sort of background the person is coming from by the way they lay out their figures.
For a chess rating system, no one in chess uses it in the way that is being shown by academia.
Edit.
So instead of having probabilities of where you might finish it's just getting to be commonplace to know the more games you play, the less your rating will move about.
This works especially well when you are playing regular fixtures like in a league setting.
You can see this in the animated bar chart below with the range of possibilities you can score getting less the more games that you play.
RD is important but it can be hidden away out of sight in this sort of setting.
Quick tip: This is how to know who are the newbies or not, on the way this information is set out.
The last 30 seconds hugely critical .I love your enthusiasm for this stuff.
How can they assess with real confidence after such a delay .
Momentum shift highly probable IMO .
Or get automatic as they were on a heck of an unbeaten run.If they play on, Fleetwood could easily get pushed out of the playoff positions by Sunderland, Wycombe or Doncaster.
So they could fall out the places, or could get promotion. Momentum is lost now and it is a restart for all teams.Or get automatic as they were on a heck of an unbeaten run.
In 2018/19 solidarity payments from the premier league to the championship saw each club receive 4.65 million pound, league 1 clubs recieved 700k... I believe its risen to closer to 6 million this season for championship clubs
or take that run of form into a 3 game series rather than having to possibly hold it for another 9 gamesOr get automatic as they were on a heck of an unbeaten run.
You wont have to worry about the void as that is not on the table -It is understood clubs will now vote on whether or not they want the remaining matches to be played or for the League table to be decided on a points per game ratio
I thought the league had said they’d pay for all testing?
They’re all over the place with their statements. I’m not surprised with the problem gambler and David Brent running the show though.
Official I thinkIs null and void definitely off the table? Have the EFL publicly stated that is the case, or is this just rumour and urban myth built up by wishful thinking on our part?
Sorry didn't see this lol, absolute cracker.. What a joke
I could be wrong but don't think I have seen it official for EFL (although I really don't think it will happen). I think the FA have said it was off the cards for the Premier League and people assumed that it would trickle down to EFL but I am yet to see that officiallyOfficial I think
I'd bet my house on WImbledon being a ppg vote.Shrewsbury confirmed as wanting the season to end.
So that's
Coventry
Rotherham
Shrewsbury
Burton
Accrington
All 100%
7 to go
And Wycombe who are set to gain the mostI'd bet my house on WImbledon being a ppg vote.
5 to go.And Wycombe who are set to gain the most
Starting to look bleak for darragh
Yeah, Southend were trying for null and void but if that's off the table I think they'll just accept their fate. Rochdale are a definite.Don’t forget Rochdale, they want it over. I’d say Bolton and Southend aswell. Why pay 600k when you have to win 7/10 to at least have a chance of staying up
