So, just to test the water, who would be keen on a gathering at the Memorial Park next saturday? Flares, beers, music, numerous renditions of cov songs to celebrate a first league title in 54 years.

Since the 'relaxation' I would have loved to have gone out with the kids to the coast for the day or any local place of beauty, but I still reserve that element of respect for the people who live in these communities and I wouldn't want to be one of the selfish fuckers who potentially heap shit on their doorstep (or bring it back to my own or others.)
Bought a bottle champers the other day (I don't even like the stuff) and if things go as they should, I will be forcing the stuff down to a background sound track of The Specials, The Selecter, Primitives, Frank Ifield, King (maybe), Adorable (remember them?) And most of Terry Hall's incarnations. (Apologies to any other Coventry associated performers I may have omitted - but I probably never liked you)

The subject is so emotive they can't be heavy handed in trying to disperse peaceful protesters
