Dave, I agree with that. Shame that so few of us will witness the march to Promotion!

Like I said in an earlier post some people will not take their head out of the sand. And as for your comment that they would tell use lower numbers on sales for tax reasons, what planet are you on the taxman will one day see the true books when shitsu let the and they will see the truth, we never will.

It's simple, pay on the day - then buy a season ticket when they leave.

They are taking us all for mugs and ripping our club apart while people shrug and go "oh well".

Won't have to pay at all for games when the Billionaire Chinese comes in as he will let us all in free as he can afford it.

Ah yes, the terrible apathy of people who want to go and watch their team. The true villains of the piece.

Absolutely. Loyalty is wedging yourself in an armchair and watching sky sports instead.

The people who have purchased a season ticket are not 'mugs' or 'idiots'. They know for a fact their money will not be re-invested, it don't bother them because all they want to do is cheer on the team, whatever league, no matter who is wearing the shirt.

The people who are not buying a season ticket are fed up of lack of success and this is a very frustrating time to be a CCFC fan and they work hard for their cash and feel giving it to sisu is a lost cause.

We are all supporters PUSB

Sorry KD but you really do write crap sometimes:facepalm::facepalm:

You're right perhaps my next post will be they've exaggerated the season ticket sales - so what about the customs and excise implications.

Oh someone has already said that..,

Wrong mate...It's not lack of success at all, It's about the lack of support from our owners. Do you want to be paying Championship prices in the Blue square league? All we are asking for, is a team that can compete. No Sky Blues fans can be accused of being glory hunters, we want to watch our team play good football, not struggle, like we always will with SISU in charge!

We'd already sold 2500 when I renewed mine 4-5 weeks ago, so I would think that 4000 is probably true.

We will be competitive in this league. The squad will be strengthened. Just out of interest all those who will not give SIsu a penny will you refuse to go to away cup games as they get a cut of the gate?

What if they got to Wembley for the paint trophy? Would principals count then?

I will believe that the squad will be strengthened when I see it. You have asked me that question before...I will bite the bullet on away cup games, and I will support Coventry if they get to Wembley. Where does the principal come into that equation. I support(As you well know) the team away from home...The least amount of money I give to SISU the better.

Going to away cup matches or sticking to principals. Squad will easily be good enough to finish mid table.

Chief Commentator!
Id prefer not to be referred to as 'stupid' :)

No matter who the owners are, Or what league we're in, I'll be there supporting the players!

Doesn't mean I don't understand everyone else's feeling or views though (haven't read most of the other replies)

You forget one thing kduffy......absolutely sweet FA has been done to even guarantee we can actually present a team to compete as yet! The squad is painfully thin...and if the transfer rumours pan out, it will be getting thinner by the day!!:facepalm::facepalm:
You must be either extremely religious, or work for SISU to have the faith that you have!!!:thinking about::thinking about::thinking about:

My question would be slightly different.

A fair bit will have been knocked off the wage bill. It also looks like they will get a rent reduction or even a share of income from the Ricoh. Our break even used to be about 23,000. It is going to be much lower. We would be able to sign 8 players at an average of 1.5k a week. This would be the wage of Fatwood and one more. Taking all this into consideration a winning team could easily bring in gates of 16,000 to 18,000 and maybe more. This would be close to break even point.

Now if all of this happens would the ones that say they will not go whilst SISU are about be able to stay away if we are winning and either near or even at the top of the table? After so many years of being at the bottom of whatever division we have been would it be easy to stay away?

Astute, in reply to your question...You already know my answer, seeing as you've asked me personally before.
SISU must be 100% transparent, and be seen to be doing the right thing for the good of CCFC football club, before I even think about returning to the Ricoh whilst they are still in charge!

A simple answer, what is so hard to understand?

Name me a board 100% transparent though. This would give away any advantage on a lot of matters.

We have 5m to spend would mean inflated prices.

We are skint = players go elsewhere and for lower values as you are skint.

We are looking to sign ******* on loan = other bigger clubs trying to get them

We are fooked = er....... everyone knows that anyway

And that is being competative it ii see being in the top six at minimum as being competative. Are you the one tellingshisu what targets they should aim for? Because they seem to be reaching them and worse.

Astute.....Yourself, kduffy, and skybluesteve76, have all asked the same(Near enough) question, I have (In your case at least) given you all my answer at least twice..........SISU have to be seen to be doing the right thing by CCFC for me to even think about going back to the Ricoh while they are in charge. Surely it's not that hard to understand is it?

Unless we get to Wembley or I assume are flying high in the league. Hardly a toll puddle martyr sort of protest is it?

I have found something that shitsu are good at. Making every Sky Blues fan lose all sense of reason. They have got us divided and at each others throats. No matter what is said on here nothing is going to change the of view of ether camp. So what is the point of having so much bad feeling towards each other. We are ALL stupid if we allow this to continue:thinking about::thinking about:

I know, going and supporting your team regardless of all the external factors and issues surrounding them. How low can you get. Shameful.

As I say you have a right to do what you believe in. Don't mean you are right. Don't mean you are wrong. It don't mean you deserve to get abuse either.

We are all different. No fooker would like to be like me :D

The question is, is giving SISU money via season tickets actaully supportng your club, or is it the reason that SISU are still here ?

Well who knows. But it's a good job they are here as they are the only game in town.

Strange I thought buying a season ticket was because you supported your team not a vote of confidence in the owners.

I have brought my season ticket for this season.
Without fans, the club would just fold.
