4000 Season Tickets - Really???? (10 Viewers)

I have brought my season ticket for this season.
Without fans, the club would just fold.

I know we don't agree on much but on this we are 100% united. We must be the only supporters in history who are trying to take this stance. Ultimately supporters get the club they deserve and we deserve very little.

Usually I would agree with that statement, but in SISU's case????.......

Well I guess compared to Bryan "I never knew that Eastern European Scout" Richardson, McGinnity and Robinson they are what - transparent?

Yeah, can't say we have ever agreed much before, but on this one i'm completely with you.

I don't like sisu just as much as the next Cov fan, but starving them out is not the answer as it will kill the club off.

I have no doubts that previous owners and directors have took the club to dark places but SISU are taking this club back 40 years and have done this from the mistakes and decisons they have made.. Todays state is self inflicted and SISU not only have admitted it but are now scrambling to react and secure money for there investors.. Those who buy season tickets deserve what they get aswell and if you get shafted by Sisu are you going to knock BR, MM or JE door or try to discover where to find the secret owners of the club!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...

I dont believe SISU have the right intentions for the club never mind your money... But you have the right as much as me to decide what you do in regards to S/T.. If you think your money will be spent well and players brought in to compete, knock yourself out... Me ive done 35 years as a fans and a few years as an employee and have never felt so cheated or down about the current situation.

This club has given me some of the best days of my life and also given me some of the worse regarding results which after a day you handle, but SISU i cant handle or justify letting my heart rule my head on carrying on while they are here..

I think we've sold 27 season tickets.

All spent on a slap up dinner for Joy Seppala and Tim Fisher.

They made Andy Thorn watch as they ate it.

The bastards.

The abuse of people who buy ST's is simply idiotic, and when the abusers are abused for not buying one(the abuse is still wrong) they act like we're all villains and we're killing this club, no it's sisu not the supporters

About 50/50 in my eyes to be honest. Our support during both sets of "oh my god we're about to go out of existence" phases has been disgraceful and generally we're too quick to find reasons not to support our club IMO. Just trying to be honest in the name of improving the club, we need to get more people up the Ricoh and Sisu is just an excuse for many. Our gates haven't dropped off significantly in correlation to anything they've done. In fact as the link I posted shows ST sales went up last season.

I will believe that the squad will be strengthened when I see it. You have asked me that question before...I will bite the bullet on away cup games, and I will support Coventry if they get to Wembley. Where does the principal come into that equation. I support(As you well know) the team away from home...The least amount of money I give to SISU the better.

So basically, you're saying you're a glory supporter?

You've made your bed. Be man enough to lie in it.

I'm sorry to disagree shmmeee, gates of 22-25k when SISU took the reigns to 8-10k gates last season, imo, IS a significant drop. and in correlation to anything they've done..........Just what exactly HAVE they done....apart from totally decimating the team?....Standing by while the team gets relegated, and doing NOTHING about it?:thinking about:

Not at all shmmeee, How can any Cov fan be a glory supporter....One Cup in a 125 years...give yer head a wobble mate.
I don't have to explain myself and my actions to you, as do you to me.
I'm more than man enough to lay in my bed mate. If you read other posts of mine, I don't sit on the fence, and will continue to be anti-SISU till we have seen the last of them!

The figure for that cup match was a load of bollox, there was no way there was 9k in the ground that day.

First time I've heard it from another supporter.....The educated guess from some friends of mine that went to the game, and my nephew who is a copper on duty at the ground that day was approx 7k tops including away support.:eek::eek:

I won't be renewing this season for the first time in 5 years because I've had enough. Had enough of being lied to by the board. Had enough of going to watch our club die right infront of us, because currently, that is what we are seeing. Terrible business management is leading to the death of this club. Weather that be the death of us as a footballing side in the top 50 teams in England or the death of us as a footballing club full stop is yet to be seen, but it's happening.

We're already in the 3rd tier of English football and we either already have lost or will be losing in the near future all the players that actually put some heart into their games last season (Keogh, Cranie, Platt). The side we currently have will be there for the taking in League 1. It's a division known for it's rough and tumble, a division that actually makes Michael Doyle look a little tame, and apart from nutter Deegan who spends more time in the physio room than on the pitch, I don't think we have any sort of fight left in us.

The board at our club have had years to show a little interest in us and attempt to give us a chance in the Championship but instead here we are a league lower down with barely any players and owners that seem unable to send a bit of paperwork with some numbers on it when they're meant to (twice now they've failed to hand in accounts on time). As a result, Sisu will no longer be getting a penny of my money. I'll be travelling (by my own transportation) to away games including Bournemouth, Swindon, Crewe and maybe Preston, but I won't be at the Ricoh because I feel it's time to starve the owners that have starved this club for so many years.

Yes, it will probably get worse now before it gets better, but we have got to do something to stop Sisu destroying us even more. Sitting around on our hands in the Ricoh with 10,000 others yet again will solve nothing. We all know the future of CCFC with Sisu at the helm is a very very dark place, so action is needed. For those reasons, I won't be renewing and won't be giving Sisu a penny of my cash.

Well as contraversial as it is, I completely agree and have done the same, for the 2nd year running I will not be getting a season ticket

Not 1p from me SISU !

You're entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Contradiction in terms or what?

See what I mean?;)

My support is NOT unconditional, as that way, they'll shit all over us-as they are, and are continuing to do. I don't get any where near as much enjoyment going to games any more-not helped by being treated like a criminal by security staff. I wish I hadn't got a ST last season, but I swallowed lies about the budget like a fool. What kind of protest as a customer do I have other than not paying? If you paid in advance for a car and when it arrived it was missing the 4 wheels you were assuming would be present, would you then buy a car from the same dealer next time?

I'm sick of being lied to, and I won't pay for that privilege. It's not as if supporting the club by going makes any difference to the quality of side we put on the pitch any longer.
